DBZ Mafia Game Thread (Town Win)

If people are uncomfortable about recognizing how their actions and words can be seen as harmful or promoting a system that ultimately causes harm, then maybe they should talk their discomfort as a sign that they need to change rather than putting the blame on the people asking for change…? Just a thought.

its only a phobia if you’re afraid

they’re too fabulous for that

Yikes.

My alternative response to this is that you come across as liking to keep the status quo even when the status quo actively is killing people irl. Which is better… trying to change some words to save lives and promote respect even if the first few conversations about changing those words is uncomfortable, or blaming people who want to shift away from old habits?

at least they have something going for them

i dont

Lynch, lynch, lynchity lynch lynch, and lynch.

Now, we should execute Purple. Not for them not claiming, but because they’re a royal color, and we as MURICANS can’t have no RUYALS in our CUNTREE

Also yikes.

VOTE: Jake

Jake is town

Doggo, I like where your heart is (and I share your views actually on these topics), but this is, uhm, a game of Mafia. We can still play right?

  1. tn5421 was clearly mocking the idea of people just calling things gay. Calling things gay in jest is a way to mock the idea of things being called gay as an insult. I would argue that that sort of thing may be useful in reclaiming terms as positive that may have previously been seen as negative. tn5421 is just clearly not anti-LGBT. Interpreting his post as being strongly anti-LGBT is a little tone deaf.
  2. We are removing the word lynch. Why beat the dead horse about that.
  3. What are you even arguing about anymore?

I’m still playing, you haven’t killed me yet.

Regarding 2 and 3, have you even seen Jake?

1 is not the current topic of conversation in the slightest

He’s still town and a bad vote.

Call everything I do gay. I literally do not care, unless you get super annoying about it.

Sincerly, a Gay guy.

That’s the problem people and their assumptions create stereotypes and hate.

Well… It DID start the conversation, I also disagree with M2H, but anyway… We don’t need to get further into that.

@Duskfall98 the game has turned into a discussion thread and probably should be moved to an appropriate thread for discussion.
