iā€™m gonna need to google cards if weā€™re going down this route. itā€™s been too long

i havenā€™t played yugioh since dino-rabbits, inzektors and wind-ups were the top meta decks (like 2012ish)

i used to play yugioh on some site that allowed you to build any deck you wanted (though obviously within the rules, including standard bans on stuff like pot of greed) vs a couple friends of mine

i think we stopped playing because eventually we spent more time looking up niche rulings than actually playing the game. fun times

Thats actually when I started playing imo.
And then I stopped
and then came back to Dragon Ruler format.
Then stopped
then came back to Nekroz Format
then stopped just before Zoo Format
and now here I am in what will soon be Brandish format.

And ye I 100% know the site youā€™re talking about it got shut down by a C&D order but a new one popped up imo which I think is argueably better.

the one thing that always impressed me about yugioh (the show) is that all of the kids knew all of the rules and none of them ever needed to check rulings. itā€™s rather impressive, actually

i always just wanted to see them do a realistic episode where the kids go ā€œhold on a sec, i think my effect takes priority over yours so you canā€™t play thatā€ and then they spend 20 minutes checking through rulebooks before failing to reach a conclusion and then the episode just ends like that

ohā€¦ and this might be a bit off-topic, butā€¦ eddie may need to be replaced since i donā€™t think he will be around in the next couple days
