if nothing else but expanding my range and giving me more confidence to deviate from a tryhardy over the top town game thats hard to mimic as scum and that rarely yields a benefit to town aside from making myself obvious. being obvious isn’t a strategy to win as both alignments, being resilient is. I want to play like somebody like @Urist, or maybe more like @Josh.

another ramification may be that (and me and elli have talked about this) a person’s mafia meta may reflect qualities of their in-life persona. maybe i want to try roleplaying as a person thats a lot more laid back and that doesn’t tip his hand off so much. that might have positive benefits for me.

You know, I’ve had to play a lot of games as Scum on this site. Like, a lot. Sometimes I get caught early (in fact, this is the most common outcome for me), and sometimes I get caught at the end. And rarely, I win. Either way, what I’ve realized is that I can’t fight my meta. It’s too hard to do it consistently. So I just post. And hope for the best.
