FTR, I still think you’re just scum, but also, if you’re not this is hilarious on so many levels, given that the players who read you best aren’t going to read you worse just because you deliberately try to shift your meta. The result will be you getting lynched more in the immediate and lynched the same in the long term, so I really don’t see the point.

I think you missed the point, tanking your meta is not going to have any positive impact on your scum game long term.

also if tanking your town game doesn’t lead to an increase in scum game wins then why did you tank your town game star?
People who have been able to read me, still can, people who haven’t been able to still can’t. Nothing has changed, nothing has been tanked, I actually haven’t played much in the months preceding SoDope, so to assume I wouldn’t be a bit off on my reads would be silly.
ive honestly thought about making a bunch of pre-planned post templates to use as either alignment but that was too much work so i didn’t do that. maybe in the next m2h town game iteration.
The way you’re supposedly tanking is less likely to lead to getting killed less often as scum and more likely to lead to getting killed the same as scum and more as town. Which isn’t really the goal lolol

Also, I want to tank my town meta so that people can’t read me, but I don’t care about the best players being able to read me is really… Questionable as a tactic, it doesn’t seem like it would have any effect at all.
I think that the end goal is to make a universal meta that is resilient but not obvious. To do that I need to expand my range not just by tanking it to one static meta but to several meta options. If I want the option to troll and openscum as scum I have to do it as town sometimes. That isn’t to say that my goal is to just intentionally seem scummy every game but in some games, yeah.
I think you’ll note the last game I lowposted and didn’t really put in much effort in the lylo. ngl that wasn’t entirely me just low efforting and had a lot to do with how fast paced the game was. at that point i was like, okay this is a low effort low post game.
i was kinda serious about giving scum the out but now that andres and co jumped on me for it, yeah this is a troll game for me now
