what is the difference between the different forum game categories?

Is it possible to enable a classic page view layout?

Pretty sure the answer is no—but don’t worry, you’ll get used to it by the time you’re halfway through your first game day! Once you’re used to it this way is honestly a lot more convenient, at least on a phone.

Hey welcome to the site!

You can see the the themes we have available atm by clicking on the hamburger menu (3-lines next to your profile). They’re in the second to last section - the theme you’re on is marked with an asterisk. If you have any styling/feature suggestions we’re happy to consider them.

We have a bunch of custom tools for gameplay/navigation (more to come! Soon™) so if you need help with how to do anything just reach out. There are often multiple ways to do stuff so if one way is annoying there might be another.

Should our default notification level for topics you have presence in to be Tracking (@'s and replies) or Watching (everything).

I always swap it to watching, that might be annoying for people that don’t want all the pings though

yeah like most normal ppl i much prefer the defaults as they are (tracking)

Tracking should be default, 100%

Is it possible to reset the votes on one particular player?

Like removing votes on a particular player?

Yes, as the host you can create a manual votecount with the votes removed from that player using [votecount] tags. The automatic votecounter will reset to that votecount from that point on.

Could you be more specific and technical?

Yep sure. Say you have the following votecount:

GTacc (2): Nanook, Key
Key (1): GTacc

Not Voting (1): Ellibereth

If you wanted to reset votes on GTacc, you could post the new votecount with votecount tags as long as you’re the OP of the topic.

[votecount]
**Key (1):** GTacc

**Not Voting (3):** Ellibereth, Nanook, Key
[/votecount]

The votecounter will reset to that votecount. You’ll need to watch out for misspelling player names though (they’re case sensitive).

I don’t know how to scroll apparently nvm

Is there a rule stating that you shouldn’t intentionally misquoting someone in a Mafia Game to either make a point or to frame them in a negative light? If not, why isn’t there a rule like that?

Player’s responsibility to check quotes for accuracy.

Why is it the Player’s responsibility?

Same reason it’s a player’s responsibility to check if someone lies about meta, for example.

Wait, why is misquoting banned at all?
