the colors alternate on desktop, they don’t on mobile, we’re making the differences on them the same since it’s confusing.
I honestly hadn’t noticed, guess I’ll have to open my laptop tonight!

In general outside of really obvious things (eg racial slurs) if your whole game agrees beforehand everything is allowed.
Personally I think something is fine as long as someone educated can plausibly decrypt it. If I can’t decrypt it it’s probably too much xD.
If you want something concrete silly things like “first letters spell something!!!” are fine. One time pad is not. There’s some vague line in between.

and then if I post 1001010101010101010, what he does is he adds it to the first 19 characters of our shared one time pad modulo 2 , and he gets my true message (because I did the same before posting, and most importantly adding the same sequence of bits twice is the same as doing nothing, so we can both perform the same operation on our binary posts and get the same result - necessary for exchanging coded messages in the open).
Then he and I know what I said due to a shared secret, while to everyone else because of the added entropy of a sequence of randomly generated bits that they do not know, it is impossible to interpret anything about my post.
