9p Mountainous (2, 8)

And just so we’re clear, I did read your ISO. That’s exactly why I’ve arrived at this conclusion.

Here’s my notes:

#364.

#377, #378, #394 make me think that M2H is the Scum.
#465 - Nuxl’s call out here is valid.
#481 - M2H calling StarV kind of Townie.
#500 - Again skepticism towards the StarV lynch. Yet, still voted there.

If you want to appeal to authority as support for you being town, then I can do the same. You are literally the only person in the room who has scum read me. Dan and GTacc both have me on lock, and even though I’ve been antagonizing DS the entire game he still won’t call me scum which idk what to make of.

Not true. StarV also SR you. He’s not here. But you can also find it in his ISO.

Hey, I might be going crazy. Which is why I haven’t voted. But I’m serious, those are exactly my thoughts.

I went back and looked through the votes btw - I do think GTacc’s vote was a hammer on StarV. But that’s more of a technical thing - I still clearly voted for StarV.

Also, there’s two Scum in this game. So it’s not an appeal to authority to clearly signal 1. That I voted for the Scum, and was the key deciding vote between Chess and Dusk, and 2. I have played the game exactly how you expect me to if I was Town.

A bit of self-meta - I have yet to bus a teammate as Scum. Has anyone noticed? I don’t even know if anyone has picked up on this. In the what, north of 10 games I have played as Scum, I don’t think I have either early or openly voted for my Scum Partner and had them flip Scum. Go look it up.

The one situation where I tried to apply a distancing strategy as Scum (which did not require a vote but you could throw back at me that I did essentially bus) is a Matroshka game where I was the Scum with Elwood and DS was the doll maker. If you want to point to that, fine, then maybe that once. But a vote like here? Good luck finding an equivalent example.

Whatever. I don’t think I need to prove to anyone I’m Town this game.

Okay @GTacc, @ActionDan, @DS, tell me why I’m wrong.

I don’t think struggling to scum-hunt in this context is necessarily bad. I feel that everybody in the room has made been townie to some extent. In an end game scenario where everybody is feels towny, the game is going to be harder. I have been working hard to implement @Ellibereth’s advice into my town game which is essentially to not express things that I don’t have a high confidence on. If I don’t feel highly confident in something, I don’t express it. I don’t have a single high confidence scum read, and I didn’t at the time of #377 either. #378 isn’t even my post but if you’re referring to me having a wide POE, yeah I honestly don’t think you can blame me for having a hard time narrowing the game down further than that. I’ve been here and been actively trying to solve the game and if you can’t see that then I don’t know what to tell you.

#465 is such a weird post to call me out with because nuxl never pushed me for that reason. Despite the fact that I didn’t vote d1 (and ngl I thought I did), nuxl still had me as a reasonable strong town read. I honestly don’t understand your fixation with wagonomics this game.

#481 Yes. StarV was townie, in the same way that I feel everybody in the game is somewhat towny. I didn’t like the StarV vote there and wanted to shift it onto GTacc or Dan, but the votes weren’t there. I only ended up voting StarV because ties in this setup are always bad for town. Your behavior at eod was bad iirc because previously you put StarV as town but within his scum range, and the indecisiveness at deadline was just idk. It’s wack to shade me for voting StarV there when you also town read StarV and I was trying to shift the wagon off of him but we didn’t have the votes. I only hammered there to prevent any last second shenanigans which idk what kind of shenanigans could hammer but when you’re town eod fucks with your head like that sometimes.

I mean, it can’t be that because I have an opinion that’s changed that you are completely reversing this statement. Like your reaction to my suspicion is not coming from a Town mindset. So yeah, I think you’re a fairly reasonable vote.

Or it could be that you are validating my paranoia by making a push that town!you should know better than to make here.

Oh man. Okay. You’ve been chasing my vote for what, two days in a row now? How can you make this statement with a straight face?

Because you’re shading me for voting starv even though I thought he was towny even though you did the same thing.

Like how are you going to push me with a straight face when you know how much support I needed to function well last game. Can you seriously tell me that my scum game would be this much better than last time after losing my partner d1? That’s ridiculous. Go to any of my previous scum games and show me anything close to the kinds of posts that I’m making this game.

I just finished reading the back and forth. Essentially DS is never getting NK’ed this game unless a specific situation arises and I won’t mention what that is. So, if we collectively lynch DS (which I still maintain is silly), and he flips Town, then it should be even more obvious what’s going on.

I literally just explained to you why I think you’re Scum. GTacc would have had to bus in a completely silly way, Dan would have to not be Town (which he is I think, though it’s still my least confident read), and DS would have had to play horribly sub-optimally as Scum and have called me Town here when it’s clearly to his detriment. I don’t see it.

Like why would DS then start suspecting you and placing a vote down on you when you’re supposedly being TR by everyone? It’s not a winning Scum strategy. He didn’t know about my change of heart, or what anyone else thinks.

And he was in my POE, and I had changed my read of Dan. I don’t see it.

If DS comes here, and starts shading GTacc aggressively or something like that. Yeah okay go ahead. But this? Would just be boneheaded.

This is hilarious because I’ve literally called you out for doing this same thing to me multiple times this game and somehow now you’re using my same argument against Andres

It doesn’t matter what kind of crazy wagonomics would have to be there, I’m not scum. You can clearly compare this game to Parity Cop 3,4 and see that my play is similar. You can also look back at 1,5 mountainous and see that for me to be scum here, my play would have to have improved significantly over what was already a huge outlier in my scum game.
