I dont think I’ve ever said you were town
You should ISO yourself then
You should quote it if you think it actually happened, because it didnt. I’ve been pretty consistently scum reading you this game. I may have softened on it slightly during mid day yesterday but I’ve been calling you scum most of the game.
I’m gonna catch up on the posts today. And sorry for not being around for that end of day.
In any case, I read through D1. Here are my thoughts from that:
Town
{Messiah}
Lean Town
{Nanook, DS}
Slight Lean Town
{Tommy2Hands, M2H}
Neutral
{ActionDan}
Lean Scum
{tn5421, StarV}
Scum
{ }
#109 is probably coming from Town to be honest. I can’t SR DS off of that. Same goes for #114. However, StarV not interacting with someone he supposedly SR’s is literal advice I got from him. So DS shouldn’t be all that surprised that StarV isn’t interacting back.
#185, #186, #187 are probably Town DS. He does repeat a lot that we can’t read him as Town so there’s that [#192]. #315 basically confirms it for me.
#209 - This is what originally made me think Tommy was probably Town.
#217 - This is classic Town DS. I’ve seen DS push hardest against those that push him in games, and this is a great example of that.
At times I just Tommy is trying to be obnoxious for its own sake. Like in #247 and #348. Nanook said it best in #250.
#276 - Tn’s vote on StarV is intriguing. #279 is a more detailed list of reads, though a SR on StarV is the only notably strong read.
#280 - StarV mostly just throws shade back.
#297 - Hahaha this is funny. And true.
#326 - I think I called DS’ vote OMGUS because it came so soon after Nanook pushing DS. I understand why you’ve been defensive about the whole hammering the quick-wagon joke, since it never should have been taken so seriously. However, I still give Towny points to Nanook for pushing everyone hard, regardless of reason.
#355 - Yeah, life got busy. I’m back. I usually get a lot more playing time on the weekends.
#356 - I think this post needs to be addressed in detail, since Messiah flipped Town.
I don’t think I threw out noncommittal reads by calling Nanook Town, saying I was not interested in lynching Star, and that Tommy was being obnoxious Town.
This is a separate thought and I’m open to discussing it, but I don’t play the game (as either alignment) by “straying from conflict”. I might not have been the most focused D1, but not wanting to actively SR one of the two players bashing each other does not make me Scum.
Calling my entrance ugly is kind of silly. Since what Messiah was saying I did, didn’t actually occur. I asked Nanook if he thought DS was being passive because I wanted to understand where he was coming from since I specifically stated an opposing viewpoint. Never did I ask if this was DS’ Scum meta, and that is not consistent with any of my other posts. So whatever.
There’s a lot of reads on M2H as Town, with the notable exception of Messiah. I mean, I strongly agree with #372 for example. Something to think about.
#386, #389, #402 - This is making me strongly reconsider my TR. 0%? What you think everyone playing just sucks huh? And since when is it a good strategy not to lynch the person you most think is likely to flip Scum? And nice calling people stupid when they disagree with you. Best way to demonstrate that you’re right.
#432 is completely fair.
#462 - hahaha this actually made me laugh since I caught this too.
#481 - I need to try and figure out what the hell this is.
Okay, the game went to shit right after Tn’s entrance in #481. Mostly a shouting match after that.
So, Tn pushed Messiah who maybe had a better handle on the game than I probably would have given him credit for, and StarV decided to shade me constantly because I wasn’t around, saying that I could be the Team with ActionDan while voting Messiah? I think I’m going to do this for now:
VOTE: Tn5421
Dan was the kill? Haha okay move Dan to the Town block then.
Thoughts on the EOD hammer?
That end of day was terrible but I thought Tn was the one who really provoked it. Star did seem to take full advantage of it though while shading me (and Dan) heavily.
I’m trying to figure this out. Are you saying this because you didn’t deserve to be shaded?
You said Dan and me were the Scum Team while lynching Messiah who flipped Town. If you really believed that, why would you flip Messiah? You should have sat on me then. Now you’re excusing it by saying Messiah was detrimental to Town, and are looking to push me when the entrance from Tn to push Messiah over the edge was straight up awful. Why would the Town lynch outside the Messiah wagon right now?
I’m dying to know what you think you deserved for reads after yesterday’s non-attendance.
Yeah life got in the way and that’s no bullshit. But I still wasn’t responsible for Messiah here.
So, why are you mixing the two topics?
-
Yes, I lynched Massiah, so did… 4? other players
-
I shaded you (and well deserved)
Why are you trying to draw an association between the two acts?
Oh, my top scum read wasn’t going to be lynched, so I voted for someone else…
I mean, that’s super scummy. throw down the hammer.
Usually your reads aren’t so terrible.
Messiah self voted. And M2H was on Messiah, who no one seems to think is Scum. And you openly said that this would tempt Nanook to hammer, which he did. I am not SR Nanook, so that leaves what you and Tn?
Well, that makes sense.
Thank you for clarifying that my vote is in the right place.
I imagine the scum chat is something to the effect of… Hmm, I don’t think I can get away with a quick hammer.
What about you?
Clearly Nanook isn’t scum here, I think he would have just done away with me here.
Sure.
