You voted him without being able to give an opinion on his game? Why? You were just casting shade onto chesskid in the last post I quoted and now you’re sheeping him without having an opinion on that player. I think there are several fruitful wagons today. Why use your vote like that?
Everything Cavin is doing is so scummy and offputting.
He repeatedly claims that what I’m doing makes him feel “weird” (noncommital language) and says it’s really important to him, going so far as to imply that I’m doing what I’m accusing him of doing, which would be a huge scumtell.
When someone presses him on it he backpedals and says “I just said it was weird, I didn’t say it made him scum.”… did someone realize they didn’t actually have a point?:

If you think that’s incredibly weird and out of place for a townie to do, why did you instead call Key’s vote “opportunistic” and vote him for that instead of just voting for me?

It doesn’t matter anymore, it just rubbed me the wrong way and that’s an emotional thing that nobody can fix. The question itself is inconsequential now.

I dont think youre scum at this point. I just think you are wrong about me. I think your thought about me not being engaged is incorrect, and it seemed weird to me (yeah im using weird again because thats the feeling I get) that you would call me disengaged but not attempt to engage with me.
If you asked me questions that I did not answer - whoosh - that weird feeling goes away because it would make sense for you to have asked me questions with the way you were reading me.

I dont think my response was aggressive. You said that I was upset about something that I was not upset about so I asked you why you were putting connotations on my response that were never implied.

I don’t feel that the language you used is the language a townie would have used towards someone they aren’t trying to shade. You basically called my accusation hypocritical. If you truly thought I was misguided I don’t feel like you’d have used wording that sounded like you were kinda-accusing-me-kinda-not which really only serves to:
- Attempt to get others to doubt what I’m saying
- Escalate the tension between us
I also don’t feel that you’re scumhunting or using your posting time productively. You engaging me directly isn’t going to get my vote off of you.

I’m going to be blunt here and say that I dont give a fuck what you think my language sounds like because I am a townie and this is how I am choosing to engage with the thread.
With that said, I did believe that you were being hypocritical, but I had been town reading you all game and I wanted you to respond to my response to you before I went down any rabbit hole where I would consider you as scum based off of that lack of engagement with me. You answered my question about why you thought I was disengaged (see: missing your questions) and that makes sense why you would think that if you thought I was in thread and purposely avoiding your questions. Still think you are town tbh.

There’s no pissing contest. There have been multiple posts this game that he has misread my tone in. This is him having an issue with reading my personality which has nothing to do with my alignment.
Please feel free to bring up a more fruitful topic of conversation. More input from you in particular would be much appreciated.
Also, for this second part, and I think I addressed this earlier - I scumhunt by observing players posts and picking at things that I think dont make sense coming from a town perspective or things that I take issue with or that I want them to expound on more. I feel like I’ve done that. Not sure how you can say that Im not posting productively when you have players like StarV in the game that aren’t doing shit.
