Tbh I feel like the game is mostly solved. I guess I’m gonna have to fight another josh kill today from yhe looks of it, but I’m kind of running out of energy here. Second straight ranked game in a row I’m gonna be ignored for a town loss.
AtE is the fun part of mafia for me. I mostly play to learn how to better argue in real life, what works what doesn’t etc. Emotional appeal wins far more arguments than logic does. And I believe its worked well for me in both school and work. I like seeing what works, what doesn’t. Its pretty directly applicable.
I’ve said shit just like this in video mafia too.

Like I don’t know how to get through to you people, clearly. I accept that’s at least as much on me but I dunno what else to try to convince you guys, and tbh I’m kinda tired of yelling st people until they maybe comply for like 5 minutes 
emotions win a lot of arguments, sure, but i’m not invested in winning arguments. i’m not invested in the perception of others, and i don’t care what anyone thinks.
that’s the problem. you’re so caught up in winning arguments and gaining the support of the people that you’ve just dropped the ball on everything else. it’s like being amazing at basketball on everything except for putting the ball inside the net. sure, all of that helps, but at the end of the day, it’s useless if you can’t score.
so no need for it right now. we’re not in an argument. i’m asking you to help me solve this game, so that everybody involved doesn’t have to get into some vindicative argument postgame.
oh, so when something wasn’t going your way in school you’d threaten to drop out or in work quit? that’s the essence of what i’m talking about. you made me feel bad day 1 when you said you weren’t coming back, and now that you keep doing it as a recurring thing i realize how unhealthy it is for this game and for you.

AtE works. SO much better than logic does. It can be annoying to play against, and it can be frustrating to use, but intentional emotional manipulation is in my opinion the single most effective tactic as both alignments. Also, a side benefit is if I AtE as town I can’t get autokilled for it as wolf.
This applies to real life, its not a mafia thing.

i just told you i’m not trying to win an argument here and neither are you. i told YOU to cut ate out of your game not because it doesn’t work, but because it isn’t working for you. there are more ways than the way you use it to manipulate and reason out scenarios and win arguments. there is incisive moves, brute forcing, and general leadershop qualities you can use with ate. however, you are only used to what you know.
so just do the opposite for a bit. the only way you can learn how to do something correctly is to try both ways and see what’s better. otherwise, i’m going to plant my vote on you, and i will lynch you.
