I guess hitting youtube app button vs. going to whatever browser and going to a link seemed to be significantly less work.

the recording option is only in threads where it is verified to be in the thread
meaning it is not in every thread

whats wrong with letting people record everywhere if we implement that.
it’s sorta like how we have the votecount button everywhere.

I’m trying to find a site where you can directly record.

Was how you did that:
record on phone/comp-> go to clyp -> upload -> copy link -> paste link

On pc: go to website, click upload, click record, hit the button, talk, hit the button again to stop recording.

Same process on mobile, except you have to expand the menu before being able to click upload on the mobile version of the site.

Just posting the naked direct share link works to embed the voice.

The only problem with clyp.it is that you can only record 360 minutes of audio on a free account.
