I did say it was 50/50
I need to run a program to compute the ratings which means I need to get out of bed
hold on.
With trueskill:
@Nanook : (25, 8.333) -> (30.5, 5.489)
@clonedcheese : (25, 8.333) -> (30.5, 5.489)
@M2H : (25, 8.333) -> (26.0, 5.430)
@Urist : (25, 8.333) -> (21.7, 5.571)
@Seththeking : (25, 8.333) -> (16.2, 6.195)
They recommend using mu - 3sigma for leaderboard purposes so that becomes:
Nanook: 0 -> 14.033
clonedcheese: 0 -> 14.033
M2H: 0 -> 9.710
Urist: 0 -> 4.987
Seththeking: 0 -> -2.385
Some notes:
Some people may note perceived discrepancies with G1. This is because of how trueskill interprets ranks relative to tied ranks at a low sample size. This is based on Bayesian probability, it’ll even out and become more correct as we play more games.
can trueskill ranks even go below 0?
