Honestly, I’m not giving you an all-clear lol. I mean you’ve been super nice in-thread, but also leaning a lot on self-meta (redirecting all questions to Phone, who has trouble reading you anyways). At the very least we need you around since you seem to be keeping thread alive and it’s been great bouncing ideas off of/talking with you, but I think I trust Luft/Benedict most out of everyone who’s posted so far (in the little I’ve seen from them).
There is something to be said for how easy it’d be to coast as scum in here. I mean, we haven’t seen half the people post, so all of the killers could be laying low and letting us tear each other apart for all I know lol.
This line, together with your vote sitting on Luft at the time, could be interpreted as rallying votes in that direction. It doesn’t mean you held an active SR. I am just surprised to see you actually say you have good vibes there.
I mean, the only reason that I’m not more suspicious of you is because of your self-meta. And you said yourself that you try really hard to look townie regardless of alignment, so that makes me less confident in your actions (especially since you’d want people to like you as a solo wolf). Kind != Town.
And my word, my brain’s jumbling things. In the context of Luftwaffle, I thought that said “kill hitler” rather than “hit killer” and Sam was making a joke post about Luft’s namesake lol.
Yeah I don’t think I’m going to nail a Killer this game. But my vote was clearly meant to try and get one. So no I didn’t have to vote a TR at that time. If I had had no idea, then yes actually voting a TR is a decent strategy - less likely to hit Specialist that way.
Sorry Sam, two separate thoughts jumbled themselves into the first statement that didn’t make much sense. What I meant is that stuff like the weird voting, the dissonance between your scumhunting tactic of following peoples’ lines of reasoning vs. your positive opinion of a slot you can’t agree with, and the prefaced Gambit so nobody can question your intentions going into it scream indy.
But you’ve also been super active in-thread and transparent with your perspectives on things, which is a typically-townie action. On the other hand, you stated that you try to emulate townie play as scum, and Phone has an issue determining your alignment so you must be pretty decent at it.
And the meta you’ve shown displays you’re an unpredictable player, which lands me at a null/scum lean lol.
Tell ya what, this has been an absolute hoot and I’d hate to see anyone giving this game a shot go so soon. I’ve always been a fan of PLs and this is the only way to get coasters to talk, so:

I’ll also say - I’ve found that people who are playing as scum tend to rely more heavily on self-meta, as they’re constantly thinking about how to emulate it. Certainly not a sure-fire thing, but it’s something that’s worth mentioning.
