id like a note pad tbh
If you dm yourself is that a notepad?
this is what i do.
gives the added benefit of having a paper trail for the games you mod in case anyone tries accusing you of fuckery.
If you dm yourself you have to go to the sent folder to find it though which is ass
That it is
I’d like to suggest that DMs you send yourself get moved to the inbox, if at all possible.
account name should come before other name
I think other name is something like screen name (like on steam) so I guess it coming before make sense
pm drafts?
I think this is a thing already?
Should I set up a dummy account people can just message if they want notes to appear in their inbox instead of sent?
how do you get the pm drafts to work? I was trying to just leave something like I do sometimes with threads but it made me cancel out of it to post elsewhere
eh - idk about that one
unless i’m full caveman i can’t seem to search in ISO
is there a checkbox i’m missing
you pretty much have to use the advanced search function. since not all of the posts are loaded at once, you can’t search through them the traditional way (via browser)
found a work around by ctrl fing in the right spot to bypass the inline search function
unless i’m full caveman i can’t seem to search in ISO
is there a checkbox i’m missing
add this please @Ellibereth
This could be as complicated as redoing the ISO feature
It looks hacky because it hides other peoples posts - rather than producing a list of only a set of posts in isolation
Most of my frustration was being forced to use the site’s search function. I went to options-find and saw it was possible to bypass it. Similarly ctrl +f on the window titlebar will bypass it.
I’m not sure I understand, what are you trying to do?
search within iso?
Ah I see searching within the topic ignores the filter. I think Urist is right and Discourse has commandeered ctrl+F because infinite scroll means it’s uncertain how much of the page will be loaded for you to actually search in.
If you want to search for a specific user with the quick search you can @username, but it takes a bit of extra effort.
