Why me, though?

I thought you were a villager. I wanted to target a villager I’m not 100% sure about, instead of targeting a scummy person and dying for it. Enjoying the game too much with my cool role to die.

aren’t you basing your logic off the assumption there’s only one wolf left

or alternatively if we know there is one wolf left and i just missed it

In the world where Josh is a wolf, he would be carrying out the kill because if he gets tracked or watched it doesn’t matter because looking at the game-state he was always going to die today. Now that we know he got targeted by a role-blocker last night, it changes the game-state, and the rest of town needs to re-evaluate using the new information we just got.

… doesn’t him being roleblocked mean that he could have tried to do whatever, and we have no way of knowing?

I think josh should prove his role today.

I don’t think crazy ultimatums are town plays, so I’m skeptical of Josh being town. Also a bit confused, like @leopardskin4, as to how @RichParente is clearing josh because of a block action. Could easily be two scum left

Can you clarify this for me? Are you saying I’m Scum pushing for the lynch of fellow Scum? So why aren’t you happy with voting Josh then?

We have a visible wolf kill on Erika. There is no way anyone but Josh would carry out that kill if he was a wolf because his partner getting tracked or watched would mean it’s game over, his partner needs to go deep as it looked like Josh would be unable to during the last night-phase.

Because of this, a world in which Josh is a wolf is insane to think about.

Add that that my investigate ability only has use if there’s a third-party in this game. The presence of a third-party means it’s not unlikely we are only dealing with a single wolf at this point. There can only be so many threats to town in a game.

didnt andres prove their claim by doing the party thing?

I think it must be said - I don’t think anybody but Elli has ever claimed to rely on a computer to play Mafia. At least I can’t think of anyone else that ever has.

You didn’t try to evaluate the game yesterday. All you said is you were neutral and fine with killing them both. I think both Elli and Josh are town. Because I’m holding this position, your behavior sticks out to me as wolfy. In the game we played before you were a lot more solvy.

I think that you forget that two players were threatening to obliterate each other for an entire day. It’s impossible to solve anything when two people make it about their big egos and push for each other to die. Well, like I said, I’m going to see this through because it would be nothing short of a mistake not too.

Also, I was on Elli’s side for the vast majority of the time, voting Josh. Maybe you also forgot that.

Yes, but I’ve had a similar role to his in a game I played before and I was a wolf. What’s telling is the way he used the ability. He barely spoke in the night, he didn’t try to accomplish stuff or solve the game. He didn’t leave us with any final thoughts except kill Josh in case he would die. Like he knows he’s just gonna survive the night and he’s not worried about solving the rest of the game.

i’m still a bit confused. isnt it possible for josh to be his own not-town thing, and also have the converted scum from earlier that starv used their ability on?

What if Andres is the converted wolf? It’s a theory I’m thinking about researching.

or the other way around

cause i thought the whole point of the stand-off earlier was each of them saying the other had been converted
