THIS TOPIC IS CONSTANTLY IN SIGNUPS. EVERYTIME A GROUP WANTS A SUAV AND WE HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE THEY GET A SUAV.
Shut up and Vote! (SUAV) games have the following core mechanic: players can only VOTE and QUOTE other players.
In all renditions run so far there have been 5 players with 4 town and 1 mafia goon. There have also always been 5 “provided” sentences/images that players are able to quote. These may be provided by the mod (the sentences can be generic mafia sentences or be all under some sort of theme), or may be provided by the players themselves (where each player submits their quote/image/video/etc. in pregame).
Of course the above is all adjustable! The general idea is people are just quoting and voting.
Let us know if you want to play a SUAV here! No specification for player amount and we’ll assume the usual 4 vs.1. The player-submitted entries was pretty popular last time we did this but any theme you guys want is doable.
Concept was invented by @chesskid3 and it’ll usually be one of the two of us modding.
Concept was invented by me to quickly mod 3 micro games and meet MS moderation requirements which isn’t a concern here.
HOWEVER, these games were much more fun than expected, and the level of creativity by northsidegal in particular lead to some really exciting and engaged games despite the severe player limitations!
I’ll send out alignments in a bit, we’re going to be doing the player-submitted quotes version - I’ll go into slightly more detail what that entails in the pm with your alignments.
I’ll also finally be updating the op with examples of past games so some of you can see what is/isn’t possible.
