Shakespearean sonnets are the only valid form of poetry change my mind

I donā€™t think writing poems is an Insight check

for one thing I have ever written a poem and Iā€™m not convinced Iā€™ve ever passed an Insight check

knowing what a limerick is before writing is an insight check

Insight. Your Wisdom (Insight) check decides whether you can determine the true intentions of a creature, such as when searching out a lie or predicting someoneā€™s next move. Doing so involves gleaning clues from body language, speech habits, and changes in mannerisms.

the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.

Knowing what a limerick is is only an Insight check if the limerick is a creature

fight me

homebrew a limerick as a CR 1/8 construct

Because I can and I will, I can always be better, thatā€™s my philosophy

okay fine the Aeneid can also be valid poetry

but only in the original Latin, translations donā€™t count

Itā€™s a joke about the one at a school focused mostly on liberal arts arguing that

So clearly as the person not at a STEM school I would know what counts as poetry

and I say that if itā€™s not a Shakespearean sonnet or the Aeneid itā€™s not poetry

Uchicago was pretty balanced iirc

You will never understand how hilarious it was to start my art history class Iā€™m taking for my humanities credits by talking about why we choose to study anything, including art history

@ literally no engineering

That last post by bep spells doom for town

But that may have already been obvious
