Speculation.

What happened in the night is bugging me.

This perspective is based on the assumption that the iconic Team Rocket is based around their generation one Pokémon. Jesse has Ekans which can do a poison sting or a wrap while James has Koffing which can do various gas related attacks based on poison.

I may also be making an error assuming that my knowledge of our side is correct and applies to the other side as I didn’t look at the evolved forms of either one.

The question then becomes where’s the poison then if none of my underlying assumptions are wrong ?

There are Pokémon who are poison types in the trinity of Ash , Brock and Misty like Bulbasaur who if they are in this current game are probably good guys. You shouldn’t claim though to avoid being role blocked if you exist and or weren’t role blocked already.

So Elli dying means there is no healer/healer blocked but does it also mean if I am correct in my speculation that they then also poisoned Elli as well ?

Maybe knowing the cartoon means I am reading into everything too much. Someone tell me I am being silly or that I am wrong.

For some reason this speculation seemed genuine to me and why would a member of team rocket do this? Rob can be town

I win with town, yea. But I cant help and give reads, because if I hard town side then mafia has reason to nightkill me. I can god read half of this playerlist consistently and I’m never getting medic saved since I’m a claimed neutral. I autolose if I die so I can’t do that. Even with 1 wolf left, I can’t help, sorry.

I can understand you not actively helping to play to your win condition and that’s fine.

I will still talk to you to organize my thoughts out loud if you don’t mind.

I’m not playing MM right now because my head started hurting and I am on a win streak again.

We believe you and Chess so that leads down a path to where you ‘potentially’ got redirected to a town player either by a worried Team Rocket in case you are lying or a town person redirected you to someone whose alignment is still unknown.

I will make the assumption they were town for ease of use which means if Team Rocket did it they know that there’s an ability that contains alliteration like say Acid Armor, Poison Powder, Stun Spore or some other random Pokémon attack.

My advice is to not use the ability if it’s an attack ability which ever side you use it against will have reasons to want to eliminate you. If it’s a defense ability then use it like you want. If it’s a healing ability then whatever.

I will advise if the person Josh targeted is in fact town they can’t use their ability tonight if its an attack ability to avoid redirection.

I am making assumptions and I could be completely wrong.

I am not using this ability tonight anyways, I am going to idle it. There’s no reason to target anybody.

And aww, disappointing. I’m going to bed anyways though, so you only missed a couple games and they were pretty bad.

Logic

Team Rocket has no reason to send a third party to a team member so in that world whomever was hit is always town

A town can redirect a third party to a town or a Team Rocket member but if we believe Josh then whatever ability it is was either wasn’t used , roll blocked , used and the person isn’t claiming the result or some other combination that becomes convoluted that isn’t worth worrying about.

Some other ability was used which my mind isn’t working well enough to articulate which someone else needs to figure out.
