I think if we keep doing that we’ll change it to maj ends day as normal and it happens iff there’s no maj.
Main intention was because a lot of people hate EoD clusterfucks and I wasn’t sure if plurality + tiebreaks adequately solved that.
Maybe extra voting round iff there’s no plurality lynchee at deadline? That makes sense too.

i think it was actually a really cool feature! that’s obviously coming from my perspective of having like no time at all to actually post in-thread as opposed to the perspective of someone who might just be sitting around waiting for the game to end, but still.
as someone who was not caught up at all, it was cool to be able to do something at all as opposed to the day just ending without me doing anything.
i think it’s a cool idea. definitely avoids EoD scrambles as you said, and takes away some of the anti-town nature of quickhammering in that everyone should be able to get their thoughts out
EoD clusterfucks are also a prime scumhunting time, and cfds are cool to form reads on. I don’t think they’re necessarily a bad thing.

but yeah, if every player in the game is okay with EoD operating as “normal” then it’s fine. Just know there’s a healthy subset of people on site who have complained about.

Oh I am okay with some games having the mechanic where maj = end day and if not maj at end day a voting stage, but I think some should have classic lynch rules too. There’s benefits to both.
Yeah I agree we’ll def do both. Especially when like the whole player-list is in the US EoD stuff becomes easier if deadlines are selected around it.

The first day really went to shit very quickly… I really didn’t know how to continue playing after the first few posts as scum because from my perspective 1-1 split scum, it’s a good move to stack the 4 and then sacrifice, but the issue being that CK and Josh were already decided on one scum within the first 10 posts. Like, if I were scum with beeboy in this situation, sacrifice play would have been strong.
With DS taking the solo spot rather than stacking 2 in the 4 group, I was hoping Northsidegal would show up strong for Town, allowing us to lynch the 3 over the 4 because there wouldn’t be much reason for andrius to think Urist and I were scum together.
