You would have done the backtracking sure. But it’s unclear to me that you would have tried to provide cover for the Cop as Scum.
I remember ds providing cover when I’ve played with him before so I don’t see why this is outlying enough to give him a townread, nevermind clearing him and stating he’s obvious town
For all we know ds could be scum trying to rule himself out of being cop so he can have a good reason for still being alive, because scum are hunting cop.
Now I’m not saying this is the case, but there are many reasons why scum ds could fake messing up the cover. Imo it ends up being rand at the end of the day whether it was a legit fail or not, but the fact that you pick up on him being locktown or obvtown or whatever from is it pretty tmi to me.
