I think your ranking is bullshit but I don’t think this is. Chess is good at this game (that’s my opinion). If he’s Scum, does he really push a “weak” player? You don’t think he would go for bigger fish? Eliminating “weak” players only works if you can just lynch weak players the whole way and win the game (like in SoDope). I’m not sold it would work here, and it does create a fair amount of suspicion to go for what some people think is “easy” when the player list is mostly decent/good Town.
Now, I don’t actually think Star is “the weakest player” - he can stand up for himself and even though he is a decent target for a mislynch (I can’t say I would trust a read Star had for my life), he can create a lot of noise and come to some good conclusions (mostly later in the game I’ve found). But you seem to believe this is what he’s doing which is why I’m asking.
Actually though, I don’t think scum!chesskid ever moves forward with town!Urist and town!StarV, I think that he either looks for a mislynch or a night kill, but ideal scenario is a mislynch…
Uhmm, otherwise, I really don’t think Chesskid is a good lynch target for today.
Chess is actively pushing you, to the point where he’s staking a big chunk of credibility as Town in this game. You are saying that you think Scum!Chess pushes for one of you and Urist. He’s doing that. But you don’t actually want to vote for him? Why?
Sorry bullshit why? Because you’re low on it? I’ve seen town thought processes from everyone higher on my list, while you just seem to be nagging on star while not actually solidifying a decision on him one way or another it seems. Give me some commentary about other people and thenI’ll maybe consider re-ranking your slot.
And yes, I do think that chess Would push a town star day one.
He might push it for control, but reputation? If he’s wrong, and I think he is, but succeeds in pushing for you (to be honest I don’t have good alternatives, I have mostly determined that for now Urist and Josh are Town and will never vote there today), then he’s not gaining on the reputation department.
I think first day mislynches are easily overlooked in the grand scheme of what makes a good mafia player tbh.
I think he pushes this as either alignment because then he has more control later on and is in a stronger position to win or lose the game based on his merits. I think that it’s more critical for him as scum for victory condition, but I can see him pushing this as town… It’s not like he’s “pushing hard” and drawing a lot of attention to himself, so I doubt he’s worried about me flipping town if it is town!chesskid.
