Well see I donāt agree. And hereās why. Unfortunately I canāt get into Cheetās motivations for selecting Urist. But what I think he was doing is picking any player and asking you to take a view because he felt you hadnāt been Scum hunting at all, and he was trying to make that point. I mean, look at #164-165. But the reason he seems to have firmly believed it is because you had mostly discussed strategy, which he clearly stated thought was bullshit:
This is criticism of your groupings in that strategy post. Or you not agree? Basically heās saying that your strategy is totally divorced from analyzing how players are actually playing, which he said you should actually be doing and is hard to fake as Scum.
i donāt think that andres made anything up. I think the most likely situation is that he was simply mistaken. Itās easy to get confused on who is giving what reasons for voting you because all the reasons are pretty close to the same. And Cheetoās reasons for voting you were, in my opinion, pretty muddy and fluid.
To be honest I didnāt like your attack on Andres. I agree with whoever said that you should have just clarified for him or vice-versa.
I think this is best illustrated by how everyone read me first before reading other players. How can I give reads if Iām one of the first players to the table?
Also, I agree with @Urist which is why Iāve already said that I liked @Andresvmb response to me even though I think itās still misguided/false.

So he attacked your whole approach, stated plainly that seeking out Scum was always better (#77), and then tried to force you to develop reads.
Now, Iāll give you this. If you Scum read him because you felt he was trying to force you into a read of Urist, and didnāt pay much attention to anything else, then I have to give you the benefit of the doubt there. But donāt say Iām inventing shit - itās a totally valid interpretation of what happened particularly after reading through to catch up.

I mean, I think Iāve already said this a few times in different ways, I understand your angle, but I seriously disagree with your conclusion about Cheetās motivations, which probably lead to you overly town reading that slot and me overly scum reading it.
Where in reality, I guess itās kind of a neutral slotā¦ Which is why I downgraded it to third on my list (I mean, it was temporarily 4th while I was pressuring you).
I mean I donāt feel pressured. I thought I had developed a view that was grounded in what was written. But I did make an inference about your thinking that you have stated you disagree with so who am I to say what you were thinking? Iām just saying - with how things were moving, my view (and Duskās in #227) arenāt ridiculous, and you aggressively attacking me for it does prove my point that youāre acting defensively (and not helping yourself).

Also, if Urist is pocketing me here, Iām going to be pissed at myself but I give him the lowest odds of flipping Scum.

I think your ranking is bullshit but I donāt think this is. Chess is good at this game (thatās my opinion). If heās Scum, does he really push a āweakā player? You donāt think he would go for bigger fish? Eliminating āweakā players only works if you can just lynch weak players the whole way and win the game (like in SoDope). Iām not sold it would work here, and it does create a fair amount of suspicion to go for what some people think is āeasyā when the player list is mostly decent/good Town.
Now, I donāt actually think Star is āthe weakest playerā - he can stand up for himself and even though he is a decent target for a mislynch (I canāt say I would trust a read Star had for my life), he can create a lot of noise and come to some good conclusions (mostly later in the game Iāve found). But you seem to believe this is what heās doing which is why Iām asking.
