Oh and I will stand by that the objectively best by the numbers town play was to lynch Not Me on day 2 and have the vigs get me. You get an actual info lynch plus a vig gets another shot refunded (there were at least 2 left, right?)
Gonna have to disagree with you there, better to get rid of confirmed scum imo.
My opinion is still that it’s better to have vigs do your info flipping and have town lynch the confirmed scum. A shot refunded isn’t necessarily better than two flips in the POE.
The vigs were pretty widely townread, no?

Like if it’s LYLO you obviously kill me. But if you think your vigs are strong town, let them do the obvious work on their own and then see who’s on the wagon for the actual TK with the flip
Yes, so let them shoot in the POE. Then we have more flips for the next day (information!) that narrow down the pool further, plus dead scum. We don’t have to try and organise a second lynch with confirmed scum still talking and more of the POE alive, and we don’t have to deal with the vigs potentially not following the plan. Plus we get the positive vibes from lynching scum which generally motivate town the next day.
There’s no real reason to instead go for a plan with more moving parts to go wrong for a nebulous “information” benefit instead that also leaves us with one less flip the next day, which is less information in itself.

As I vig I prefer to shoot who I have the power to shoot that not necessarily everyone will lynch. Like Urist, I couldn’t be sure he wouldn’t have slimed his way out of a lynch had I not shot him.
