Microtown - Over

I mean that’s how I read it

This can absolutely be solved from any one player’s perspective if we make 1 simple assumption: Nanook is town.

If my PoE is everyone EXCEPT Nanook, there are two realistic scenarios:

D2: We lynch anyone other than Tier + Nanook + NotMafia (preferably not DS either)

N2: Tier protects Nanook, Someone dies (if it’s NotMafia, 2 people die)

D3: We lynch anyone other than Nanook + NotMafia (if Nanook already died, we lynch Tier for the win)

N3: Nanook kill + Night Kill = 1 person left alive, unless he targets the same player as Mafia… But the idea is Nanook probably hits Mafia here. If NotMafia is still alive, NotMafia targets his highest scum read, Nanook targets NotMafia.

1 player left standing… (game solved without this player requiring any reads on any other players). We’re likely to get 2 green checks (from my role block and from DS ability…). If we lynch NotMafia it’s less auto because we don’t get as many kills driven from town…

Without lynching NotMafia we get 4 town driven kills, 2 Mafia kills. (this assumes NotMafia is town), if NotMafia is scum, we win either way.

Your whole post assumes not mafia will cooperate?

Which is the same thing you’ve insulted me for

No, it doesn’t. He actually is required to do nothing, and eventually he dies via vigi… If he decides to deliberately pick his highest town read at the end, I imagine a lot of players would blacklist him.

Even if NotMafia is town AND plays everything wrong, we come out ahead. By default we get 3 town driven kills, 2 Mafia kills.

Our worst case is 3 Town driven kills, 1 NotMafia kill and 2 Mafia kills. which is still better than the default.

Not seeing how we guarantee who that 1 survivor is?

We can’t guarantee who the 2 survivors are in the default scenario where we face LyLo with 3 players, but our chances of winning are increased with more town driven kills… Narrowing the PoE to one rather than 2 is also a HUGE deal.

I mean, I thought the roles worked the same way you did, so I don’t think it’s inherently scummy. I guess some paranoia is ok, but yeah, pretty sure you’re still just town and notmafia is just scum.

No one is arguing this point. but the situation where you vigi NotMafia is more certain than the situation where we lynch him.

…how is a situation that relies on me being alive to kill him more certain than a situation where we just, you know, kill him now??

I think NotMafia and GiF have to be the next two executions, tbh.

Not mafia is too dangerous to let live—he’s either scum (probably), or he’s town that’s too destructive to town to be alive right now.

Thinking this as well

Uhm… You’re guaranteed to live through because we have a rolestopper who either protects you or scum claims and I think he’s town…

I honestly don’t care, if this were a ranked game, I would push heavily for the optimal plan because it’s foolproof as long as Nanook is town… But I really don’t mind killing NotMafia straight up.

Correction, I can also roleblock him, in which case I could kill you, but 1) I’m town and 2) you would have 2 lynches anyway and if you’ve narrowed it down to me or Tier, it’s still fine.

If we aren’t lynching star d3 if there is a d3 we need the rb shot to be convincingly used night 2 to avoid exactly that scenario

We could actually play this game out without any discussion with the plan I laid out and we would almost always win. I’m not sure how you can possibly think there is the slightest chance of me being scum here.

Anyway, this game is auto from here.
