Matroskha 3 - Over

I think it’s the fact that Dan is such scummy town that’s made town win 2x

I think it’s both, I’ve been low effort with low effort partners and star has read the game well.

Don’t see how that materially changes with a cooldown except mayyyyybe town talk themselves out of the right answer :woman_shrugging:

Also, scum have a chance to sway the decision. That’s what the first 48 hours is for.

There’s more ammunition for scum to sway after the dollmaker is chosen

Exactly. Prodded along by scum.

Eh, scum in this game already had the benefit of ActionDan digging himself a grave, if either were active during the first phase (and not obv scum), I would have been forced to wait for you to post, and probably sided with scum as a result…

So, if scum miss their timing in a 1 day game, I’m ok with it costing them the game… Yeah, it sucks if the timing came at 3am when some people were randomly awake, but that’s the thing with extended social game with a 1 day duration… You will miss out on opportunities just by virtue of time.

Though, of course this game is a bit more extreme than that, 3 town were actively posting for a while and no one else was, it’s less the story of a missed opportunity so much as a full day of missed opportunities. I don’t think the format is bad, or that it needs a timer… When you play a game where 1 person ends up being in control, you have to anticipate the possibilities you’re dealing with and play accordingly.

The worst thing that happened to popcorn is a timer tbh.

I think its super funny that this is the only game in which you all are okay with essentially less than 72 hour days.

Maybe players here mistake pro-town behavior for scum posts?

sometimes it’s hard to tell

And popcorn.

I wonder they might have in common…

A need for a cooldown perhaps

More social game for funsies than competitive

And cooldowns are anti-fun.

Popcorn yes, Matroshka no

i mean sure, next run the doll fucker can’t submit their list for 24 hours :man_shrugging:
I don’t think it’d make a difference
