exactly
hmm not sure if there can actually be a mechanical incentive for that or at least not one I can think of
that could work, I wonder if having scum kill their target and themselves when they shoot town would make it more balanced
possibly
would be kinda weird to have pushing scum correctly basically be a death sentence tho
like that genuinely might swing too far in the other direction lol
So,
- Kill Fruit Vendor
- More scum
- Short fuse?
- How would I add incentives for herovigging?
- Give scum a way to use popcorn
- Possibly make shots private, so have the result posted and not who shot who?
“I’m about to shoot X”
X has died
“I shot X”
i have to ask
was the fruit you were selling oranges?
what’s short fuse?
no clue
Possibly. You are right that you’d only have 1 conftown D2–if you’d have gotten one D1 (by shooting town instead of scum) we’d have dropped them N1 without a second thought. Scum win method is to powerwolf and then keep the PoW as wide as possible. Seems we weren’t able to powerwolf effectively, though…
Scum winpath, as was pointed out earlier:
Town 1 shoots Town 2 (Town 1 dies, Town 2 confirmed)
-7-3 Town
Engineer a miselim (Town 3 dies)
-6-3 Town
Kill Town 2.
-5-3 Town.
Town 4 shoots Town 5 (Town 4 dies, Town 5 confirmed)
-4-3 Town.
Engineer a miselim, preferably by hammer (wasn’t available sadly), Town 6 is dead.
-3-3. NK any town, game’s over.
Unfortunately for us, it went:
Town shoot scum (8-2 Town)
Miselim Town (7-2 Town)
NK Town (6-2 Town)
Town shoot scum (6-1 Town)
Town elim scum (6-0 Town, Town wins).
As it is rn town always wins with 1 clear if there’s 1 scum left
In 3 v 1 (2 + 1 clear vs 1 scum)
One of the two town shoots the other, dies
2 clears + 1 scum
Vote to win
In 2 v 1 (1 + 1 clear vs 1 scum)
The non clear town shoots the scun, town win
Or the scum shoots anyone, town win
A 2 v 1 without clears theoretically draws
If town miselim, then scum kills at night for win
If town misfire, scum kill at night for win
If town noelims and scum kills, town always wins that 1 v 1 by shooting.
Therefore, if town has no idea who scum is (or doesnt want to risk it), a 2 v 1 always draws
no clue either…
ah ok
Woah ngl that was fast
yes
it was
