My impression of Star is that they are a clueless villager pushing for information.
They seemed to be excited in thinking Cloned was a hit.
Sadly I wasn’t here as Cloned Cheese is from my home site and they tend to be LHF.
Star seemingly not knowing about this is >rand V as if they were scum, they’d probably have information about Cheese being a likely misyeet.

Which scum would have likely mentioned to them at one point, and that doesn’t seem to be the case.

why would this information make him act in a way that would lead him to not push cloned

If we’re living in a S!Star world, they could say “See this was an easy miselim” and yet they didn’t know that before the fact.
You’d want them miseliminated as that would help your win condition as scum.
