It seems reasonable, but I think it assumes the mafia 1) are aware that you can kill them in revenge for NKs and 2) didn’t think you would be protected. If I were jailkeeper I think you would be the obvious target to jail regardless of alignment.

So, I’m not really understanding why people went voted out 000peo and he ended up being the Universal Backup, which is a good town role. From the reasoning I gather, the reason to vote out 000peo is that they don’t want to vote out Kline.
Eric Kline:
He was voting for 000peo for self-preservation which is a totally valid reason to vote for someone. Not at all suspicious and totally valid reasoning. However, a group of people have seemed to defend him by voting out 000peo and he was sus before so he’s still sus.
Arete:
Read post number 530. At this point, Arete was judging the vote for 000peo, but later he votes for 000peo. His rationale for the vote is that 000peo hasn’t contributed much to the vote. 000peo isn’t the most active person period. He probably didn’t find something to contribute so he hasn’t said a whole lot. I get what you’re saying, but look at his prior games on CD.

Prior to this vote, there were 3 votes on 000peo, 4 on Eric Kline, and 2 on Orange. He hasn’t said he trusts Orange, and he hasn’t brought up much of anything to the table other than just plain old questioning people where it would be easy to do so without providing a whole lot.

After reading through, my thoughts are why would you want to vote out 000peo as an easy vote rather than taking the time to vote out someone who’d be more suspicious than someone who isn’t active but never has been. This ended up being a town PR person we got rid of.

Unlike the others, Kline had a very legitimate reason for his vote so I’m not voting him now. Arete seems to have stood out a bit more than the rest by post 530.

Also, orangeandblack5 is now voting for Arete. I trust orange more than Arete, so by a Arete flip, that tells me more about Orange as well.

and … them being inactive wasn’t even my main issue with the slot, my main issue with the slot was their weird defensiveness + the fact that even when they were active, they weren’t making an attempt to solve
like, ‘taking the time to vote out someone who’d be more suspicious than someone who isn’t active’ is literally what I was doing, that’s why I was pushing a 000peo vote instead of, I don’t know, a Gtacc or a Kaylee or a Quin vote
(separately I think ‘let’s find the Mafia on the wagon’ is a faulty way to go about solving, particularly when the wagons were likely V/V, like yes probably there was one just by pure statistics but if Eric is indeed a villager I don’t think the people on the wagon are >rand W)

I’m mildly inclined to think the ‘1+ in Kaylee/Squirrel’ assumption doesn’t hold
both of Squirrel and Kaylee were voting Eric at EoD, despite being verifiably around to change their vote
I think that in town!Kline worlds, if Kline claimed vengeful and said he was shooting in Kaylee/Squirrel, Mafia!Kaylee/Squirrel would switch their vote off so they wouldn’t die (might be slightly better for Squirrel than for Kaylee, since IIRC Kline said he was specifically targeting Squirrel?)
technically this doesn’t apply if one of them is W/W with cheese, but cheese has been fairly villagery in my opinion
