Why would Arete risk a false claim when the result of such a claim could have easily resulted in his scum buddy being voted out?

I don’t think arete would do something so high risk as claiming a-cop while also throwing his buddy under the bus.
Plus, either of their flips as scum would heavily help the other look very town.
And! The scum plus separatist probably coulda moved a vote to JK quite easily!

Also consider that we may not have the max number of PRs. Considering the top 3 picks chose neighborizer I find it very probable that at least one PR pair went undrafted, since later draft picks were also likely to pick Neighborizer over some of the stronger PRs, because they may assume the good ones are gone.
