Thoughts on why I survived the night after swearing I was gonna kill squirrel?
It’s probably wifom
But like
I only really seriously considered trying to vote out kaylee or squirrel
And so even if scum team called my bluff l (or didn’t) they could only reasonably assume id kill one of the two
Which would probably indicate one of the two are scum, right? Cuz otherwise they woulda just killed me?
Does anyone follow my logic here? I’m not being very clear I’m just trying to explain that scum team NOT killing me last night probably means something about my reads
Gonna be honest here, when I said ‘iso’ I really meant ‘revisit the posts that gave me sus vibes + the ones at EoD’
381-398 - I think this is still weird, though as I’ve thought about EK’s play in past games, I think it makes a lot more sense. M10* perhaps being one of the best examples, he made a lot of posts trying to keep conversation going.
Looking at these posts from that POV, I think there’s definitely a world where town!eric starts a conversation that’s either useless or helps scum because he wants to keep people talking and didn’t necessarily think through what he wanted to get out of the conversation. There’s also the point that vengefultown!Eric would want to examine orange in more depth as a potential revenge target, though that seems less likely.
Of course, there’s also a world where scum!eric starts that conversation because he wants to see if orange will slip and give up crucial information. But overall, this interaction is looking more null or scumlean, not as strong as it was previously.
*This was also a game where I was highly sus of him for a long time (and we both ended up being town PR anyways)
791-792 - This is also consistent with Eric’s mentality of getting conversation going and involving more people.
854 - supports previous notes on 381-398
1137 - (note: this post was made 3 minutes before EoD) This feels like a townie mindset. At this point, this is the votecount:
I’m pretty sure scum!eric doesn’t reveal that he’s vengeful, since he could get a free kill. Plus he still had the self pres vote by moving from from kaylee to 000peo. In addition, assuming scum decide who gets voted out in a tie, then he shouldn’t be worried about a tie anyways. So the move to reveal is looking pretty townie to me.
1152 - for the record, I’m okay with a 1 for 1, though I’d prefer for it to not involve me. I won’t elaborate more on that.
1210-1211 - this felt pretty townie (scum!eric should know he wasn’t nk’ed), but I think he could fake it. Still, I think it’s more likely that it’s a sign of town!eric.
Overall thoughts:
EK’s moving more into a townlean for me. The 381-398 interaction was weird, but I can see a world where that comes from town!eric, and his EoD reveal felt town to me.
And all said and done, I think we shouldn’t vote him out today since he claims vengeful (and nobody counterclaims that slot). It at best results in scum getting 1 closer to majority, and at worst results in scum getting 3 closer to majority.
Reasoning
Voting out town!eric:
He kills 1 town, scum get 1 NK. This results in a net -3 townies.
or
He kills 1 scum, scum get 1 NK. This results in a net -1 townie.
Voting out scum!eric:
He kills 1 town, scum get 1 NK. This results in a net -1 townie.
And barring a cop/tracker check, I think there’s enough data on the EoD wagons for more compelling cases than Eric.
But youve talked way too much for me to leave on neutral
And really your actions seem to continue to lean towards that “passive” that I was talking about earlier. Like, you’re not really game solving like I’d normally expect
And I don’t like how much pocketing you appear to be doing
