Itās Andresā. Andres wouldnāt kill someone infamously known to be an expert at mafia on this site if they knew that they were washed up. Instead, they would target a skilled player.
So if andres thinks Elli is washed up why would he say he believes Ellis read on you?

He did mention that the read came from Elli, but he did not say that Elli was the reason for trusting it. We currently do not know why the read seems ok to him.
Your are missing a key part
If Andres were to say āwhich I totally disagree withā, or āwhich seems to be made out of tofuā, or even āwhich blows air in my faceā, then you would still have no point. If Andres were to instead say āwhich is why I totally disagree with itā, āwhich is why it seems to be made out of tofuā, āwhich is why it blows air in my faceā. or even āwhich is why it seems okay to meā, then you would have a point, as Elli would be the cause, not a correlation.

The way he phrased that statements indicates that Elli was not the cause of the read.
I donāt know where Jake got that. Itās true that I donāt hold Elliās reads as complete gold anymore (it actually screwed an Endgame where I had a good inclination as to the actual result). Doesnāt mean you completely discount it either. Elli is still a better player than me when he plays half asleep.
However, I do have a feeling Jake is just Town, and I agree with Elli. Which is why Iām not bothering to argue that read too much. Jake is actually trying here, which seems unlike the Scum Jake Iām accustomed to seeing.
He is washed up though. Chess is too hahaha even though he wonāt admit it. He had you as Scum and tunneled you when you were Town. Now that was hilarious.

I just get busy with IRL stuff.
From my short time in this community Iāve gathered that seems to be ellis thing too is he gets busy with work and such.
I did an intro post last game and people thought that was weird for some reason so I didnāt this time.
Iāve been playing on the syndicate for 6 years same name. Nanook invited me here and itās pretty different than what Iām used to. Itās been difficult trying to adjust to this. Iām used to polls where you can easily see who is voting where. People usually explain thier votes there and have longer posts.
ISOs are easier to do there.
So is there a good result to all this arguing about whether or not ellis read on jake should be believed? Elli made that read pretty early in the game and then mafia killed him off. It is easy to just ride the wave of being ellis town read for the game.
