My WiM is kinda low currently but on a read tbh I think my vote sticks exactly where it is.
Ici himself has been lackluster and his ash comments are weird.
I think also ari is a wolf and arete should re-eval that slot. Maybe without the use of meta Because like arete said once on my site that ari is lhf-y wolfy as any alignment
marshal i’m just saying that clearing ash because he figured out the witches were the villagers first dosen’t really hold water in my eyes
as mentioned, wolves have safeclaims and would know that witches are v
only thing it even remotely clears him from being is possibly an uninformed NK
and even then just barely
i think whether ari is a wolf is honestly a question of “have they actually done shit”, which would require me reading the pre-scratch thread, which is what I’m doing now but in a tedious manner
Well to everyone who is calling my actions are intentionally trying to throw the game I would agree with you if it was 2 minutes before EoN but it was not, it was 2 to 3 hours before EoN if I vote for the pure purpose of a self perversion then I get rid of any hope of getting someone who I thought needed a look at and had a possibility of being MG at that said point. And progressing the game in the hope to find MG’s voting in self preservation dose not tend towards that goal.
For my vote right now I would

To get us the most information regarding the messenger and he dose seam to be very defensive to his slot at this point.
idk I can definitely see a wolf posting that
wolves tend to be far more aware of the nature of design from get-go thanks to their information advantage
I think the Wisp wagon is fine
The TNK hydra was pretty towny
Arete is towny but didn’t make a wallpost so they’re actually lockscum
Zone and Ici light townleans
god why am I spending so long trying to prove that ash is not lock clear
i guess it’s because i think the village core is being far too complacent at the moment
and this clear feels way too hasty to me
like i know what kind of read this feels like
it’s the kind of read that feels really clever and is based on what a wolf would never do, and is founded in a misplaced sense of what is genuine
i’ve misread hippolytus on my homesite several times with simmilar reads
the actual way to read ash in my eyes is his interactions
because we can already assume that ash, if he’s a wolf, is capable of faking single-person non-interactive event posts that a villager might post, which means likely his interactions will come off as more unnatural
i’ll report more on this after i’ve finished my pre-scratch read
i’m struggling to figure out exactly how quin misunderstood what he’s being accused of here
i’m willing to put some of that down to the scratch to be honest, but it’s still weird. not sure what to make of it.
@Quin who, other than yourself, would you say is the most obvious villager who is not mechanically cleared?
the defensiveness on that is the odd bit
obviously you’d be defensive of yourself if you’re being accused of gamethrowing (which we weren’t really accusing him of, just making -EV plays, but I digress)
but to this degree?
it’s a bad clear zone
i’m not opposed to people being villagers, but you can’t clear people for bad reasons
at least one person who was cleared by that is a wolf, 100%
i didn’t really think about it but this reasoning works
to add on to this bananas dosen’t even consider that ari would just… nightkill Arete here (not to say that this reasoning is correct in any way, I think the possibility murders that read completely) but instead had ari try to kill arete, who is in a very strong position threadwise, using the lynch
what I think it shows is that bananas is the kind of wolf who tries to avoid TMI by pretending that wolfchat dosen’t exist, if that makes sense. he’s loath to think about it because he’s afraid of TMIing something from the real chat. it’s evidence of TMI in which a wolf dosen’t consider something becaue they have too much information

side-note: this case is quite good and it bumps up the hydra by at least 5 Arbitrary VIllageryness Points™
