I’m giving him a pass based on that message for now but if he doesn’t start actually being townie in a few days I’m going to want to scrutinize it more closely

I don’t agree with the theory that town only has one ability but cop + public messenger feels like a really weird combination balance-wise (although yes he could be a public messenger)

Thinking on it further, an investigative day (usually night) action would only give the result at SoN, after the messanger would be locked.

So either:

  • cop automatically sends message
  • cop investigates in night phase (usually day)
  • bepwei is the messanger
  • a MG messanger wants bep to be greenchecked (either bep is scum, or through god knows what WIFOM bep is town)

also I didn’t tell my masonry I was doing it and probably they’ll be mad at me when they actually catch up on the thread

also at that point I still wasn’t 100 percent positive we were a masonry, I was just at the point where I TRed both of them and the flavor kinda pointed to masonry
