Yeah, I thought this was strange. It made it sound like it was bad to yeet scum because it was worse to have them venge shoot a town. But yeeting scum is worth it, right?
But if the medic does claim, then we definitely don’t get 2 ICs, right? Because scum would definitely shoot medic vs possibly shooting medic.
Well yeah I think you always gain an advantage by executing Scum here. But what Jake is arguing is divorced from the probabilities at random. He’s saying look Elli is an easy Scum to figure out. So letting him take a shot at a Town is a bad idea when we can focus on figuring out the other Scum (assuming Elli is Scum) and almost guarantee a victory in that situation.

Breshke is still voting Elli right? I mean look, I agree with Dan who, regardless of alignment, is right that this would be a bit of a ridiculous way for Elli to try and suss out the CM as Scum. It’s almost too obvious. But I’m assuming they’re not that familiar with Elli (who disappears as Scum like he just admitted here), so I would give them the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day, we don’t need to figure everyone out if we can establish a Town core, so I’m fine with leaving Breshke in the POE.
