Scum had an unlimited strongman, so basically the SK’s chances were dependent on the strongman getting lynched. That sucks.
sk can shoot the strongman first. There is at least some play they could make around it.
So for SK to have a reasonable chnce, they have to a) get the strongman lynched, or b) shoot the strongman (without being ID’ed and shot by the strongman, mind you)…that’s a tough wincon, especially given that the SK didn’t know who the scum team was, so was basically operating as in the dark as town was.
Scum did Not know who SK was.
That is the whole point you keep missing.
I understand that…that doesn’t make SK’s job easy or fair.
And the rabbit is saved! Yay!
Congratz Town and all players, and thanks for all the filp flappery, Metal Sonic & tn5421 and 1/2.
If scum failed to ID the strongman, there would be 2 kills every night and town would be mowed down really, really fast. That’s how the SK would have won.
Also, SK had a strongman of his own. And also a cop of his own to ID scum faster than scum ID’d him.
If literally ANYBODY but elli was scum and let the SK actually play the game and use its powers to its full potential, right now you’d be complaining about the SK being broken instead.
swingy game, not horrible imbalanced. I like swings.
Very very impressive Andrés.
gg
Followed the game after being replaced out. Nanook did a good job, better than me lol.
Naw, I wouldn’t. I don’t think the SK was imbalanced because they were killed early, I think they were imbalanced because their wincon relies on luck more than the scum or towns does, and that isn’t entirely fair.
wait did elli actually think he was hitting SK? because taking out the SK N1 in a multiball game is theoretically unsound (albeit it didn’t eventuate to any real issues for the scum team, town’s power is buffed up to account for multiball so actively trying to take out the SK just puts scum at a disadvantage). same reason i didn’t try to target scum N1
I did not.
You were killed because of competence.
i was trying to help you =[ my kill logic was “well scum aren’t going to kill him so hes a good shot”, expecting we’d work side by side in peace and harmony until it came down to a showdown
it would have been magical
I really wonder how the game would have went if they swapped roles: elli was the SK and muffins was scum instead!
See? That’s what I mean when I say SK had a really hard job. He has to look town enough to not get lynched, but if he looks too town he gets shot in the face by scum, who don’t even have to make a real “do we use the strongman power or not” decision since it’s unlimited, they just shoot him and kill him. It’s very, very, very difficult to win this game as the SK.
Who’s to shy away from a challenge?
Makes the eventual W even more rewarding and special.
Sure. But the SK didn’t have the same or comparable odds as the town or scum did. Swingy is fine, but one faction had an unfair wincon, that’s not good, regardless of whatever “YEAH BUT THE CHALLENGE” platitudes you want to throw out
Late but GG town! I honestly thought Andres was town for most of it lol.
