Flip Flappers Mafia [TOWN WIN]

UNVOTE: Ellibereth

Why?

I’m ok with them being offed

What is going on here. All this confusion is going to lead to a no lynch.

@Urist, your flexibility this close to the deadline makes me think you are chasing a lynch. And you going against the strategy you laid out for yourself today when it proved convenient is really reinforcing my view of you. Just saying “yeah ok fine” is not going to undo that damage.

Nanook has already voted for Elli, Erika, and Cats, so how anybody trusts anything that Nanook is saying is beyond me. Unless Nanook is arguing that the Scum Team is those three, that strategy could have already cost us the game. And Nanook has consistently ignored the possibility of us being in Lylo - why that does not raise more red flags is really bugging me.

Btw, anybody trying to bash Cats for participating in a run up you are instigating is ridiculous.

@Srceenplay, for the first time all game, you are actually trying to put a vote down in a wagon that may result in a lynch. Interesting. At least you are voting for people you have Scum read, so I can’t fault you for that.

@ErikaFurudo, I need your input here. This is crunch time - you are disappearing at the worst possible time.

@Ellibereth, care to chime in? Your silence is deafening.

It’s not really that confusing. And I don’t see why my vote would be affecting anybody else’s. You are completely free to vote for whomever you please.

When did I say I was confused? You should read the word confusion there to mean mayhem.

And this attitude will guarantee that we do not lynch anybody. This is majority lynch after all. How can your vote not affect other people’s?

Can we get a vote count?

Flexibility isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

And yes, I have several votes today. So? What’s your point here? Making votes isn’t a sign of trustworthiness or lack thereof. Votes are how you play the game.

I can see both points of view.
And I don’t think it is alignment indicative.
But how votes are used in Majority voting is different to how votes are used in plurality.

What bothers me is, that both you and Urist have been using your votes as pressure like we do in pluralty games. But then getting the heebie jeebies when the hammer becomes a possiblity.

Both of you vot hopping can look scummy as you claim my putting Ellie at hammer range was scummy.

@MetalSonic

Vote count Please?

@Urist

Have you explained why you are seeing Nanook as towny?
Why won’t you vote Nanook with us?

It’s not about what you do, it’s about how you do it.

Probably cause I’m town

You are right - flexibility is not a bad thing. If your views evolve in a way that people can follow, even if you are wrong, then that’s generally fine, so long as the end result does not make it obvious that you are sabotaging Town. Expecting people to get everything right does not make sense.

When a lynch might result in a loss for Town though, you looking to lynch anything that moves is not a good sign. You don’t have to vote. You can make clear that you would be happy to lynch people in a subset, and then if you have rallied enough support and your rationale is sound, go ahead and vote. I won’t bash you for that.

But look at your vote for Erika for example - you changed your mind because Erika said a few things that made sense to you

Vote urist?

Right
Erika gave me doubt, so I changed my vote away from her. Are you saying I should keep my vote on someone I no longer feel confident enough about as scum to lynch? That seems
silly.

No. I am obviously not suggesting that you keep a vote down on someone you see as Town. But you switching your vote so quickly suggests your initial read was weak at best. So why put the vote down? When we might lose if Town get lynched?

I am not going to argue this endlessly.

I really only see Urist as scum if Nanook is scum.
The only thing I have against Urist is their preventing the lynch against Nanook and then following Nanooks argument against me.

So why not lynch Nanook first?

I mean, I already explained this? So I’m not really sure why it’s such a big deal
like, I had two close to even scumreads, couldn’t get one lynched so I tried the other, the other made me doubt that read, and I backed off the vote. That’s just how you play the game.

But it can also look like fishing to see who you can get tranction with to get a mislynch as scum.
