Up to 430, add a townlean on Milo
Blech, I’m up to 577, and I’m done for now. This is a depressingly boring game to read.
Reads so far are Milo as townlean, Cats as scum, Urist as a townlean, weirdly null on Elli, and a townlean on Erika. Screenplay is null, but I’m annoyed with his name not being right.
And a townread on Andres.
Your jumping around is making it really difficult for me to develop some sort of coherent thought about what you are trying to do (and whether to be certain about your claim). I am not trying to argue that you should have any certainty about any player other than Elwood at this point. But I am finding a bit ridiculous that your read of Elli (to give one example) changes in the course of what, 2 hours, after consistently casting doubt over him the entire game (and only to appeal to Elwood)?
And what is it with all those 50/50 leans on Urist, Elwood (now obviously not Scum), and Nanook? I can’t help but think to myself that you are being intentionally “wishy washy” about your reads.
I am highlighting these for you because for your claim to be effective (and for us to clear say, Elli or Erika, who you are claiming are most likely not Scum based on your actions), it is important that you are accurately perceived as Town. Otherwise it does not work. But also, Erika is, as far as I can tell, not in much danger of being lynched today. And Elli, despite his low posting, is also not being targeted in terms of votes cast thus far. So… why did you claim? What’s the point? Besides removing yourself from the lynch pool, what does it achieve?
I re-read Mylo’s posts, and he’s a slight negative lean for me (because he completely fails to elaborate even though he’s asked to do so multiple times - see post #581 by catspurr for a good illustration of this point, and the back and forth with catspurr on #622 and #624 [with no posts since as far as I can tell]), but would he be my first choice for a lynch here? No.

This is a nice break from the game - I have only seen one Resistance game being run here, but I encourage people to run more of them (and keep them going, with short time frames for selecting Teams to go on missions). It is probably one of my favorite games to play live actually.
Completely agree, great game. Playing it in person is awesome—I’m also very fond of Avalon, maybe even more so than vanilla resistance.
I’m sorry, I was V/LA but I’m here now. I’ll check up on this within the next 4 hours.
