And, from my very limited expereince, it is often the person with the most votes day one who then gets lynched day two.

Any day works. She is in the lynchpool, and “I am ok with this” is definitely something I say as scum. I’d rather lunch my read though. How do you feel about the titus wagon sitting in the lead all day while nothing is going on?

really, the overall level of engagement in this game is just pathetic
shiro has virtually no content and is still voting titus for what i guess is RVS
val has virtually no content outside of rambling about me but drawing no actual conclusion from it (which makes me more inclined to)
mylo has said nothing about the game (i feel the “ask me anything” might be ever so slightly indicative of town though)
elwood’s been MIA for three days and is voting titus for policy reasons
mohab has said nothing about anyone who isn’t pyx
titus voted erika for unexplained reasons and has posted barely anything else that’s game-relevant (granted, she says she’s sick and that’s excusable but it’s still a contributing factor to why this game is so stale)
if you asked me to tell you what pyx’s current reads are or what catspurr’s current reads are, i think i’d have better luck throwing darts at a dartboard than trying to parse anything they’ve written
and elli is being elli, but it seems like there’s a relatively low level of engagement even for him and i’m not sure if that’s because of the rest of the playerlist being so inactive or because he’s scum who’s just coasting along
impulse doesn’t post much but at least i can see seeds of where his thoughts are at. andres has given some reads and is at least trying to engage with people. and erika is about the only one who’s been making her scum reads clear
not that i’m a saint or anything in regards to producing content, but at least you should have an idea of who i think is scum (and why) and who i think is town and that’s something i can’t say for the vast majority of the rest of this game

there’s no actual ruleset regarding what does or doesn’t count and some mods count intent
regardless, there was pretty clear intent in that post so it doesn’t really change what i was saying
Erika came to play and does a most excellent early analysis. She may have an agenda but it doesn’t look bad.
I actually like that Titus poked me to start, but then he fizzed out like warm beer. Titus=stale beer. Plus, he/she’s the debil. Titus and Val both.
Mohab is looking for trouble, but this early that could come from villager or wolf.
Andres is a lost little puppy. Lost little puppies are not bad. Andres=not bad. But it’s next to impossible to believe everyone doesn’t find me odd whether they’ve played with me before or not, so for some reason he’s lying. Erika sees it too.
Ellibereth and Muffins are inscrutable this early. One must smell them carefully. Elli at least wants to live through Day 1, so that’s shocking, really. But then does he say Titus is a she? Pronouns on this site are really becoming a growing concern. _fferyllt knows I’m town, so if that ever changes burn it with fire. 1 other player knows too, but you’ll never worm it out of me.
I think the initial votes on Mylo by Elwood and Erika may have been cossposts, but Erika says no, Eleood stepped on her toes and is a bad dancer. Then E posts excellent reads town (pyx, Elwood) and scum (ffery). It’s looking an awful lot like ffery is the Mr. Hyde to Muffin’s Dr. Jekyll. Elwood is the goo that excretes when Jekyll is transitioning to Hyde.
Val is the debil.
Impulse is a villager.
Mylo has commitment issues.

I have had this game on the back burner not paying a lot of attention.
For a combination of factors.
A lot of people don’t like day ones, and then to make day ones last, like? forever.
Well, I’ve been trying to not waffle/fluff as much as I have been prone to do in the past.
Especially on day one.
So I have been slack/lazy and not really following this game.
I saw pyx’s count having titus’ BW on five and thought, can we kill the day and get onto day two?
I didn’t feel great about doing it, especially now you fferyllt have pointed it out, but I just figures everyone else is seeing titus as scum, Titus themself, being sick probably wouldn’t mind an early excite, and yeah, it saves me the effort of scum hunting.
For the record I have Titus as very neutral, so I tought/think sorting him would not be a bad thing.

umming and arhing, then several posts later voting titus just feels all wrong and scummy to me.
I know this Could be a town tragettory, but it just feel scum crafted to me, set up low hanging fruit while seeming ‘towny’…
I believe pyx is town and can also be low hanging fruit.
I am not convinced Erika is town.
Want Fferlttl to be town, but not so sure.
Everyone else is Meh at the moment.
I don’t get why explaining where I am coming from is a signal that I am scum to you. I’m not going to make a meta claim about how I play the game because it’s pointless (and I haven’t played that many games to begin with). All I’ll say is that I try to be careful about where I place my vote and I like explaining how I think about it. I just think it’s better than placing a random vote and pretending that I’m trying to be helpful.
Also, you have a similar read of Titus (to the point where you put a vote down putting them close to a lynch), and yet you think there’s something wrong about the rationale for my vote? That just doesn’t add up.
@pyx, I do find you a little odd (though funny and entertaining too). That has nothing to do with my point. Though I am open to changing my mind - post #194 is a decent first step. I get it, you have a strong read of Erika as Town. I can’t say that I appreciate you calling me a lost little puppy though.
I can understand that, the problem I have is that the steps look so careful and calculated they appear to me to be manufactured.
It may be just a different playing style, and I am sure others will see it as careful town plodding, but I just got the feel that it was very ‘calculated’.
If you have played enough to play with very good scum, you might understand why to me it looks like very good scum play.
