Dengeki Bunko UCanPick [TOWN + SURVIVOR WIN]

and his role being confirmed means he isn’t scum because … ?

Here I’ll quote my previous response since you clearly did not read the words I posted. Maybe try two will help you.

“Whether he is scum or not is unclear but theres no way he should be the counter wagon to Cheeky. We need to put up someone against Cheeky so we can dissect vote movement patterns”

Glad to see I’m not the only one who feels like ds was overjustifying his reason to not vote sxreen.

i don’t get what you’re trying to say or what having confirmed his alignment has to do with being a counterwagon

I am still new to pluraity voting. The majority of my games over the years have been majority.
When we need 7 votes to lynch, does not having two wagons mean a lynch is less likely?
I was okay with no lynch yesterday.
But we need a lynch today.

Plurality voting means the person with most votes at end of day dies

wait is this plurality? i thought it was majority

Fine, I had it back to front.
Does not two viable wagons forming in majority voting mean the chance of no lynch are greater?

Doesn’t it mean that scum can throw their numbers around easier if there is two even wagons?

Its both.

" 5. Plurality lynch rules are effect; the player with the most votes at the end of the day will be lynched. However, if a majority is reached before the deadline, hammer will happen, and the player will be lynched."

It is, My Bad.
I had them back to front in my post.

Fuck.
Should read the rules closer.
Fuck, Dumb.

are ties rand or first to reach the number? I feel like it’s the latter, but mu has me fucked up with their rng shit.

We are playing my kind of game and I did not even realise it.
Probably because it keeps saying 7 votes needed in the vote count.

Well see the idea is, either way the chance of movement is greater if the lynch isnt completely decided upon by the entirety of the game. Scum does indeed have a chance to possibly throw around their weight to make changes to the lynch, but as flips happen over the course of the game, that will be very obvious and make it so that scum essentially outs themselves by way of vote readings. Since we are able to iso the mod and see all the vote counts, having two options for a lynch that town agrees are likely scum makes it so the scum have to actively decide where they want to land on the lynch. If they decide to try and make a play to save them both, that should be obvious.

Yeah I agree we need clarification on what happens if there is a tie. @MetalSonic

Aaaaaand, continuing along with this thought, IF there IS a vig, they shoot the counter wagon and we have heaps of information.

  • or what having confirmed his role has to do with being a cw

skitter presses the attack!!

Are you really not following my thought processes? He has an action confirmed by two other players. Why would we lynch someone who has that confirmed this early in the game? Answer is: Thats not going to happen. Him as a counterwagon is useless because Cheeky will be the lynch 100%. We need a counterwagon that actually gets us information from the vote movement for the day.

You’ll notice why Im so particular about vote histories in games that I mod (for example the ONUW’s I ran earlier - where I showed a record of unvotes also}) - EOD vote reading is a skill and providing solid counterwagons is very very very important to uncover scum.
