Dengeki Bunko UCanPick [TOWN + SURVIVOR WIN]

no, that was closer to the beginning I said that. You looked relaxed and I said as scum you normally come out guns blazing.

But then the weird push on me, and random vote on Riley, and looking over the iso to see no real stances, I changed my mind.

  1. it kinda on some level comes down to the fact that i have a really really hard time trusting that other people can read someone better than me and sheeping is not something i do lightly. i was throwing around the idea but on some level it’s hard for me to trust other people i don’t know too well that way, without checking that they have a strong record of reading the player better than i do. like in a perfect world i guess i’d just sheep but i have really really really hard time trusting reads i don’t form by myself. (and i also have a fairly strong tendency to get tunneled)

right now the scum side is stronger than the town side. ti’s not nearly as strong a read as it was in rvs (if it was this close to deadline i’d be actively trying to get her lynch), but on balance i do think she’s scummier than townier. i don’t really think i’m fence-sitting tbh

  1. ok, let’s rephrase this. i don’t think i’m being cautious in a scummy way for me. the wording thing is something i do as either alignment. that’s a personality tell, not an alignment tell. i guess i can understand why you view that as being cautious but i do that irregardless of my alignment so that’s not something i view as being a scumtell, it’s just a me-tell.

i also think i’m being a cautious in a way that is town-indicative for me - giving reads/opinions on things like gut/tone that i can’t always super explain; as scum i’m a lot more careful and i basically try to have a reason for like everything i do and can overexplain it

  1. she said there might be scum in {andres/cats}, and voted cats. i wanted to know why she picked cats to vote over andres. she said cats is easier to read. i understood that to mean that she thought cats was more likely to have an ai reaction than andres, and so she voted cats to try to prompt it. that makes sense and id on’t have have much else to say about it

uh the posts that i quoted already? i mean i could go back and find more if you want me to

no, he doesn’t strike me as nervous really, or like he’s trying ot intimidate her

he sounds to me like he’s indignant that she was still reading him wrong

I disagree that the Riley vote came out of nowhere? They’ve been in my lynch pool for quite awhile.

I also have made stances. They might not be stances you agree with, like that skitter is town, but…they’re still stances.

I’ll also point out that everyone of your scumreads is due to their interaction with you—I don’t think you’ve scumread someone until after they’ve said they thought you might be scum, with the possible exception of DS?

Read further, I think there’s something funky about dans claim

The SK thing? I don’t really know yhe flavor…is that a thing that would make sense? And even if it is…I dunno how closely the roles match the flavor.

Really my issue with it is just that masons don’t need to find eachother? That tends to be duos from my experience

you could be town too i guess

i thought it a little strange that he was trying to talk me out of my cats read tbh

did he really though? he seemed like he got peeved by it, more so.

do you think I sound / sounded indignant?

i mean i understand tonal reads

but like if you think he feels scummy the next thing i’d kinda expect you to think is ā€˜ok, if he’s scum, i think he’s trying to accomplish XYZ’

i don’t think he’s scum because i don’t see much motivation for what he’s doing
your’e calling him scum without explaining what scum!him was doing

don’t you try to interact with people that are scum reads?

And there’s a limited pool of people really. I already said I liked AD, Urist and Andres.

Sometimes? Depends on the scumread though.

i thought the sk guess was a little weird also tbh

i mean it’s a upick and i can see a mason-varient like that being a thing

Also forgot to mention, I’m kind of okay with Srceen. I liked how he called out to Erika to help him get a lynch. Seems more town thing to do than scum

yeah, kinda peeved because he was being read wrong

you didn’t feel as sincere

before you ask, no, idk how to explain why or better

I guess you just read him differently than I do. He’s kinda sarcastic, in my view

just a note - i’m not trying to be offensive. I don’t think that’s offensive to say anyway… that he comes across kind of sarcastic… or something. can’t think of it now.

anyway

i kinda agree tbh
