i understand that people who have played with her are tending town on her. i still think she’s scummy, and i don’t scumread anyone else more, and i don’t really have anybody else i actively scumread atm (and in general i don’t really change my vote that often, especially not day1). i could switch my vote to a lurker but that feels kinda ehhhh and i’m not convinced that doing so will actually cause any of them to post given how infrequently they post and the fact that they don’t particularly seem to be following along enough to actually notice
if i scumread someone else more i’d have switched. i guess i can unvote and leave my vote hanging but that’s also just kinda meh and there aren’t really any other wagons that i’d prefer to join rn
although now that i think about it that’s probably indicative of scum being happy with the gamestate given that there have been like no wagons this game
you’re objecting my writing style and calling it scummy. that’s just how i write. feel free to ctrl + F like any of my town ISOs (on MS i suppose because that’s where i play usually) and you’ll see that those phrases show up rather frequently there
i get this every couple of games or so and i think that scumreading me for my writing style is kinda silly. i’m aware that people find it scummy and think that i’m hedging ro whatever, but that’s just how i write and i’ll defend it that way each time

mantis is the person i scumread the most. if i found someone else scummier i would have said so and voted accordingly. i’m not like actively calling to push her or asking people to wagon her because multiple people who have played with her and say she’s townie for her. without doing meta research i don’t know if they are actually better at reading her than me and can’t really verify the read, but it does make me cautious and makes me cognizant of the fact that i may be wrong. that still doesn’t really change the fact that i personally find her scummy

riley’s posts are surprisingly comprehensible given the writing style but i don’t think she’s done much remarkable or ai; her stances strike me as kinda safe. or perhaps a better way to describe it is like ‘not-making-waves-y’

i think he’s hilariously obvtown - he’s incredibly genuine, guileless, and agenda-less, and a lot of his posts just kinda bleed him being genuine
like tonally he feels incredibly sincere

i read those as him being affronted/outraged/annoyance (idk the right word exactly) at you misreading him over a long period of time more than anything else; that’s part of why he feels sincere to me

but yeah i was interested in the riley thing because i dind’t entirely understand why you had her scummier than me given how you had interacted with her in comparison to me. it made me wonder how sincere that list was and whether or not it was just a bunch of names you had listed without really thinking about i.

So…by that logic…any time you get two votes on you, those two must be scum? What about three? What about four? Seems unlikely there’d be four scum, admittedly. It just seems silly to me from a town POV to think that any votes on you must be from scum.
Like, in your worldview, at least two thirds of the scum team is trying to kill you, right? Why?
Please don’t take this the wrong way…you don’t seem like the right kind of player for scum to piledrive like that, to me. You’re a solidly decent player, whereas, in my experience at least, when scum want to pile drive they usually either target someone like Elli with impeccable reads, or someone that’s really easily mislynched.
I could see that re: Riley. I just really, really hate that style and find it incredibly obnoxious, so I’m sorta reluctant to try and figure out their alignment, cause my annoyance will likely either make me scumread her where I shouldn’t…or I’ll overcompensate the other way and townread her where I shouldn’t. So she’s pretty much in my “only via POE” pile.
I think I agree with this. I also respect what I’ve seen of DS’ game though, so I don’t know how much stock I want to put in that, but it’s enough for a townread I think.
