pyx: Here’s the thing - if there was an Indie (or 2) they’d need powers to balance Screen’s and cabd’s, and no one is claiming them, so either there’re maybe 2 vanilla Indies refusing to work with Town, 3 Scum who only had a 2-shot block and whatever the sleepwalk thing is (do you think that balances against revealed Town powers?), or yeah, 4 mostly vanilla goon Scummies with only the 2-shot block (though OK, part of that might depend too on which MS we’re actually dealing with - the SuperMS or the VanillaMS).

Mantis again: As for the sleep walking thing. I can’t make any sense of it whatsoever. That’s why I’m wondering if it’s a random thing. OR again - like I said, maybe MS scum using someone to confirm that the sleep walking thing is legit. If he was scum, maybe he used it on me, as a throwaway, because I’m not likely to be lynched? so doesn’t matter to make me confirmed town.

I don’t know about that though. I don’t think it’s a block though… well, I have a suspicion that it’s not a block… ?

The night action is weird. Why would scum target Mantis tonight instead of MS again? It supposedly confirms that MS is town. Sure, MS was not getting lynched anyway… but if you can keep targeting him and keep the mystery alive, why not? It’s not that they have a restriction against targeting the same person twice… MS claimed he was sleppwalked twice in a row.

And ^ on the sleepwalk thing, THAT’S the thing that if a scum power really points to only 3 scummies with 1 left. That’s maybe an occam’s razor of where we’re at, or I’m at.

And I’m agreeing with Judge more than Urist here, but it’s kind of weird, just as Urist and most of us found the Josh kill to be. I mean, if mafia made ithe sleepwalk 2 different targets it’s either that both targets were town thought to have powers (after Mantis claimed VT, which should have been believable to scum), OR, didn’t “keep the mystery alive” as a means of “pointing their night action at them self”.

In hindsight the latter could be either Mantis or MS though. If to clear Mantis it’s pretty straightforward. If to clear MS it’s maybe more complicated with the 2 times. I think one of those times would have to be fake, and more likely it’s the second one. That is, the whole cabd/MS clash would have to have been planned and staged N1 (or early D2 after it looked like cabd was going down, though doubtful, with 3 early votes that quickly dropped to 2 and with cabd apparenty absent). So, a plan to fake track with maybe scum actually sleeping themselves to get the exact sleep PM, then faking the sleep D2 for more cred (esp. if it’s limited shot). But this actually makes less sense since it both takes out a use and then actually uses it last night on a claimed VT.

So, to me, it could go either way - either as Judge says or Urist says. Either for or against Mantis esp.

Scum would have legit had to try and make a kill on Andres… and Screen really actually stopped the kill.

I think it’s more likely Scum targeted Screen, who prevented his own Nightkill only to get quicklynched the next day.

My sus on Mantis is POE. I reread the whoooooole game. I don’t think it’s Andres and Urist looks guilty as sin EXCEPT there seems no way of getting 'round the legitimacy of his RaceCop claim. Yeah, it could be a dual-role with the sleepy thing, but they seem to have both been used at once AND as Miller I think any, any cop claim we have has to be a town cop.
