I accidentally got my toenail ripped off once when I caught my toe under the tiny hole of a door
There was blood everywhere and my dead toenail was caught under the door. Underneath where the nail is supposed to be was blood gushing out and it was raw to the touch (yes, I tried touching it), much worse than underneath a scab. Scabs don’t hurt
