I wanted to bring up the message MS got too. I finally figured out last night I was confused, maybe still am. I got GM fferyllt and player _fferyllt confused I think. MS wasn’t saying he got a message from dead _fferyllt but from GM fferyllt, right? So it was a roleblock message.

I also think we need to think about Urist wanting us to look away from the two to find Scum, until it was clear it wasn’t going to happen and he made the choice of helping lynch the coasting player. Unless you think #2548 from me is not genuine.

I get why MS might be scum. Occam’s Razor and all that. But I think that Cabd should be able to prove his role tonight. If he can’t… he’s probably scum. If he can… then we can consider lynching MS. But it’s not like we’re on the ropes or anything here, we have time to allow the PRs to prove themselves.
Plus, I thought MS was town before the claim, and the way Cabd did it was kinda sketch. The amount of time it took him to claim it especially makes it seem like he had to think of it.

That said, I still think Cabd has a decent chance of being town. And I think MS has a decent chance of being town. Is there really any harm in letting them both live tonight?
Like… it seems like the thing that allegedly targeted MS was a RB or redirector. Either way, there probably isn’t both a redirector and a RB. So if they want to mess with Cabd’s action, they’ll have to use that ability on him… which will confirm MS (if Cabd is town). If Cabd is scum, he won’t be able to prove his track, unless he’s a scum tracker.

Basically what I’m saying is that the only way we learn nothing from this is if Cabd is a scum tracker.

From where I sit, I would also like to lynch the people who I find scummy, but you’re not really trying to do that.
Please don’t vote MS just because you think other people aren’t going to drop the claim nonsense. You’re giving up, and that’s lame.
I was thinking last night that I was disappointed that we haven’t had the chance to work together this game as much as I would have liked. Work with me now. You agree that pyx is scummy, right? I definitely think that his lynch is attainable, and I definitely think it’s too early for you to be calling it a lost cause. Let’s lynch the guy we think is scummy, rather than just lynching MS because it’s the easy thing.

The way Cabd has handled his own claim presents many issues that need resolving.
The thing is, if MS is town, I don’t know how he could have handled this in any other way. He could have fullclaimed, sure, but I don’t see how that would have changed things… we would still be in the same boat where he’s claiming to not target muffins.
Can you just trust me when I say that lynching MS at this point is not a great idea?

yeah at first I wanted to let Cabd live, so he could prove his role. he would have just been lynched today since that would have been impossible.
the last two posts you quote should tell you that i’m town. i argued strongly against the MS lynch all day, which was definitely the only reason why he wasn’t lynched yesterday. do you actually think i would do that as scum?
