I asked everyone to claim their race and no one would do it but you want my character?
Yes, if your character doesnât fit the claim at all, your claim will be unbelievable.
Like if you claimed your character was Worf I would vote you for sure.
He did do that in Chosen as scum, but he was calling you town the whole game, which you were. So he was technically not wrong.
Attn cabd voters, So yâall are thinking the skitter argument with Nanook over mass claiming was staged, and that this post from skitters is insincere:
Though I agree that skitter then seems to waffle in poking cats vote on Nanook.
But then sheâs back to grilling Nanook:
And then, when Cabd takes over he comes in with what Iâve said was a very reasonable reads list (though some have called it safe â wink, wink, Urist), and then âfollowsâ _fferyllt (who didnât actually have a vote down, and Cabd already puts Nanook as his #1 scum) onto Scum!Nanook with a vote (later changed to Josh).
Cabd even tries to bribe Urist to vote Nanook. So if cabd is mafia all of that would have to be staged.
I agree that starting D2 with the Tracker claim, Cabd does a bit of a dive for me, esp. in that ALL of the claims have NOT been hard, but soft, even though Screenplay is claiming his as hard - itâs NOT. No flavour claims whatsoever, just bit-by-bit mechanic claims. But does a Scum!cabd really confuse or convolute the Miller claim based on Screenplayâs use of âMasonâ in the middle of pressing MS as visiting _fferyllt?
I completely agree Cabd needs to get back in here, but yâall really think itâs a scum absence?
And look, someone has to be scum. EVERYONE has positives and negatives, and maybe VCA and Nanook associatives arenât enough for this group of mindtwisters. Iâm just still at a place where if I HAD to choose between MS and Cabd, wellâŚ
And pfft! Itâs gonna get me nothinâ but grief, plain as the nose on my face, may have already, but Iâm just not ready to jump right in on believing another Screenplay claim out of nowhere, not when I had just finally decided he could be town. Now I donât know, What is the info weâre supposed to have gotten, just more investigative support of the Miller claim? Why give mafia yet another PR target over that?
I swear to god, this game
UNVOTE: cabd
Why would you fakeclaim cop and say this
If you know there are investigators? And with a Miller already claimed? This seems a little sketchy to me.
VOTE: MS
Iâm not shifting my vote unless I do
And Iâve had Josh as a questionmark and maybe still do. For those who know Majiffy he kinda reminds me of Majiffy (heâs not Majiffy, btw, is he?). Josh hasnât (been able) to play much, but has had it as Urist & MS since way back. He says MS never really challenged cabd on the Tracker claim as Josh would have expected, just accepted Cabd as town. But then he maybe buys into the possession thing a bit and says they both seem scummy.
Thereâs not much there at all between Josh and Scum!Nanook which is troubling. But I kinda like how Josh has offered to be more tollerant and accepting of flatearthers and those of us sensitive to abusive sass, barbs, mockings, nauseating denigrations, befoulments, vituperance, and ignominious tautings of the third kind.
I guess I could vote there, but itâs weaksauce.
Screenplay also sort of opens with a Nanook vote (1st serious vote). I read the, âFakeâ, âFakeâ, âFakeâ as townish. And then thereâs the push-back on the Scum!Nanook agenda of tunneling cats, claiming a false inno read there. If itâs all scum theatre theyâre having a jolly good time, but pushing cats to vote Nanook looks sincere. The claim of a Nanook scum slip that Urist says isnât is immediately claimed as simply a dramatic affect, but he goes on to stand by his scum read of Nanook. But then he goes on to vote half the field, saying he doesnât even remember his push on Nanook. By POE he has mid-D1 lynch list of Nanook, MS, or Judge and stays pretty conisient there. He goes from voting MS on the strength of Joshâs meta read there, to voting Mantis for quickly reversing course on MS over nothing, then joins the cabd wagon, then the smilodon wagon just to get a lynch.
After Nanook kill, Screenplay starts D2 with Judge and Mantis as prime targets, claiming to have caught Nanook. Votes MS.
He does say ahead of the Doc claim that he visited me. I still donât know that I trust him. I think heâd be OK voting Judge, Mantis, MS, or Urist.
I only know that whether heâs believable or not, Iâd rather not vote a town PR claim, and I guess itâs only he and I who have strong doubts on Urist.
I dont actually write it in the thread but the last several times I voted Iâve told myself that this is it
Cabd has been prodded.
