Deep Space 9 Mafia - Game Over!

I backed off of Josh when they not only started contributing but also shared how busy they are in RL.

CABD also shared their RL interruption and I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
But since then he has been deliberately obtuse and ‘mysterious’ which now has him in my scum pile.

On the strength of the soft claim I backed off my vote on him and tries to put pressure on Metal Sonic.

But my vote can go back on CABD very very easy and soon if they don’t get their head out of their arse and talk straight forward simple language.

Although I am not sure why we are saying ‘soft claim’

This seems to be a specific claim of “Tracker”

UNVOTE: UNVOTE;METAL SONIC

VOTE: VOTE:CABD.

Put up or Shut up CABD

nobody pressured me cookie head

I just pressured you now and you responded
BOOM

???

Did you miss the part where we’re waiting for metal sonic to respond, or are you just being an asshat because it helps you feel better about yourself when you go to bed?

I did not visit fferyllt

After some thinking I think the following information is safe to reveal:

Last night ffery sent me a PM saying that I woke up in the middle of the ship corridor during the night. My character was very confused, maybe I could have been sleepwalking. Then my character went back to my bunk to continue sleeping.

That is certainly very spooky and it gave me the chills when I read that. Short horror story courtesy of writer fferyllt

This sounds like either I was redirected or roleblocker

…so your full claim is…?

sounds like we have to lynch one of you or I could be being dumb however these are not mutually exclusive

This is fair, though that would have been counterbalanced by the very many things that you raised throughout the game up to that point. Thus, I would have just expected that you would have maybe hedged your position a little more?

This is partly true, in that Nanook was willing to discuss other reads and players (clearly), though he always seemed to get stuck and revert back to his Scum read of Cats.

I can see 3. I have to say, I fell a bit for this myself.

You two are the only two players to almost assume that Nanook was Town in casting your views of the game D1. Srceen, on the other hand, seemed to consistently cast shade on the slot but never pushed him too hard (and Nanook never actually seemed to care to vote for Srceen despite Srceen placing a vote on him at one point). Given that the two of you have at various other times been pushing for Srceen as a target, I would be truly surprised if none of you flipped Scum.

why do you want to know, scum? is that your avatar speaking?

 I want to know if I should lynch you for other reasons beside my av

I hate this whole Cabd v. MS saga. MS’ explanation could potentially explain Cabd’s result, which means that Cabd might have just placed an enormous target on his back. Also, if we lynch MS and MS flips Town, it does not tell us whether Cabd is lying. And if we lynch Cabd, and Cabd flips Town Tracker, it does not mean that MS is lying either. In fact, what makes it likely that they are both telling the truth is that Cabd would, as Scum, be taking quite the gamble if he argues that MS visited _fferyllt and MS knows this to be impossible. It basically sets a showdown and guarantees that 1 Scum sits between the two (and we would probably have gone for Cabd who was under significantly more pressure).

On the other hand, Cabd could have, together with his Scum Team, planned this whole thing. Say you take MS’ claim at face value. Since this is a role heavy game, the Scum Team could have simply targeted a player they thought they could make an easy target out of (that was to visit a player at night). So, they put a redirect on MS, and have whoever is under the most pressure claim Tracker and argue that MS visited whoever they decided to shoot. This way, MS would be unable to disprove Cabd’s claim convincingly, and if wrong, Cabd could still argue that it is not his fault.

Also, I can’t imagine that they are both Scum (it would be quite silly to be honest), so you have to think that at least one of them is telling the truth. I am more inclined to think that MS is being truthful, so I think I would be open to voting for Cabd. I, however, am not sure that it makes sense for the Town to do this today. I think we can wait to see if the Scum Team blinks first, and decides to eliminate one of them.

Andre, your walls of text have got to the point that I honestly don’t know what any of your reads are.
Without waffling for several paragraphs, givng no explaination, please just list the alive players from most town to most scummy.

Thank You.

lmao well played

VOTE: ms

@cabd so you said you tracked MS to ffery right? …tracked him to her corpse though? Is it looking like he was seen after she died? Or is it unclear?

MS visited _ffery; yes. When that is, I do not know. My results were not specific as to the time frame.

The way this is turningout, I think it likely that scum team has some sort of “reverse fruit vendor” or something? I don’t see myself voting for MS today. Or ever, really.
