Depends on the community a lot!
A lot of community’s conflate skill/experience with alignment, better play is townier play etc. So it’s hard for a new player to join a game and do something then get called bad etc then killed for not having the same game knowledge?
Also you’ll find that as “good” players get sheeped easier, new players tend to not get listened to even if they are town read, which is ironic considering most people have approximately random reads anyways.
