Chesskid IPick 2 - Medium Effort Version - Day 4

if the game allows everybody to win then why not do it

What you’re arguing for is so easily manipulated as to be completely silly and unrealistic.

@Mafia we will funnel money for you to peacefully win if you no-kill tonight

VOTE: M2H

That may be an option when we get down to one wolf “we’ll give you $1000, you exit with a win and town wins cause there’s no mafia left”

But rn it’s not worth it just to get rid of one mafia :woman_shrugging:

I don’t know why you are fighting this @Andresvmb

the idea is that the game is breakable due to chess lessons that will presumably be an income source as the game continues

No, it literally never works. You guys are not even thinking rationally here. So the Scum are going to out on the hope that they get cash for a win instead of being instantly Lynched? How would any rational Scum player even trust that?

and if there’s one thing i love its breaking games mechanically

I’m not counting on that being true

If I’m at End Game, I’m literally never sending money to Scum so they can exit with a win. That’s playing against my win condition. And it’s also never happening.

Why wouldn’t town follow through though? As long as it gets them a win too I see no reason not to :woman_shrugging:

because we have no incentive to lynch them if they self-out

if im being fair i think you’re up in arms over this idea more because you think its unsportsmanlike than that you think it is patently bad.

Because they can win and the other faction actually lose, which they have worked presumably until the end to attain, instead of everybody riding into the sunset together like this is some kumbaya nonsense. No.

I mean I wouldn’t do it at f3 but if there’s one mafia alive with 3+ town alive too
I’d have to at least strongly consider it

Who cares who else wins as long as you do? Lol

No. It’s not even what I’m complaining about. Your logic is flawed - no rational person would behave like you suggest.

why not

You’re guaranteeing that one side wins as Scum with the hope that the other faction (who otherwise wants to beat you) follows through. It’s not logical.

And chances are that the rest of Town actually has to agree. You only need one dissenter most likely to guaranteed lose.
