The gambit was actually really strong and it was the right group of players if you played it perfectly. If you don’t mind, I’ll point out a couple things that I think could have put it over the top.
Tips
- When your gambit was heavily scrutinized and you more or less agreed it’s not effective, you should have reverted and played a very strong towny game: I think this can probably net you the win, obviously, the risk is that you’re too transparent.
- When you out both of your partners day 1, you’re essentially saying my town game is so good that I can troll and pick out both mafia who are not voting me… Which is a very hard one to sell in the end, so maybe cut that part out next time.
Just be careful not to play that type of gambit with players who will lynch you for being a troll.
