Being transparently transactional or selfish is not the same as presuming that you can sneak bad logic past people (or manipulate them) to the point where they will willingly reduce their own chances of winning to gift you a win.

also i wore a jacket today during work as a retail worker. there is a spot on my hand that wasnât covered by my jacket that is literally bright red sunburnt from <3 hours of sun contact
